If anyone has bought a ticket for a Millwall fan in a Charlton area, then they don't get no sympathy whatsoever if they lose their season ticket over it.
Fella I work with is millwall, one of his mates has got a ticket in the charlton end, as his brother is a charlton season ticket holder and sorted it for him, you just cant tell some people can you.
in all fairness you'd like to think you could trust your own brother to keep quiet and not make himself 'known' to the home fans and stewards
This is part of the problem with Millwall, although I know some Spanners I would never buy them a ticket for this game, whereas when we played Leyton Orient in the Cup some years ago I happily brought tickets for some friends who are involved with their Supporters Club because the O's had mucked up on the initial allocation.
Millwall fans have this superiority complex and are actually quite arrogant in their attitude towards us.I doubt a Spanner could sit on his hands if they scored.

Why should they sit on their hands? Are we not all heading to this football utopia where we can all sit together with half & half scarves, painted faces & slap eachother on the back when eachother score? I thought Charlton are at the forefront of challenging anti-social behaviour, making the Valley a welcoming & inclusive place and are hugely condeming of any violent behaviour, particularly if it's done by a Millwall fan....and yet I sense a hostile & aggressive 'welcome' to any Millwall who would wish to sit in the home ends....but then I guess the violent & aggressive attitude is acceptable when it suits....

Sparrows, many spout as if it's going to be hostile and aggressive to any Millwall fans but its all in their heads mate. When it comes down to it, nothing 'naughty' will happen.

Sparrows I have often attended Charlton away games at Arsenal,Chelsea,Orient,Spurs and indeed the Old Den as guests of friends in home areas.
Each time I did this I accepted that I could not cheer Charlton on in the way I normally would. Most of your fans would not show us the same respect.
I have to agree with sll about our rivalry though. Palace to me has more actual hatred and is more violent because I've only met 3/4 palace in my life so i can hate them because of what they've done over the years and how muggy their fans sound on forums. But I absolutely love to beat millwall because of bragging rights, but I know far too many alright millwall to ever really hate them
3k tickets in 6 hrs, for their cup final, must have had spanners camping overnight to ensure they got a ticket for a game that doesn't bother them.
Still really confused as your (as in Charltons) constant assertions that this game doesn't bother us. It's a local derby, massive bragging rights, we want to win it. The big difference is in MY view this is still a fairly good natured rivalry whereas some of the hatred that's displayed about west ham & palace is on another level.
You can see that same theme on here, whilst many on here have "hatred" for us & Palace, there are a lot more on here that have Millwall friends/family and it's generally "oh I hate Millwall, but the ones I know are alright..."...whereas it seems different for Palace.
SLL, you never tried to put us out of existence, Palace did.
Ron Noades bled you dry - not palace. He did the same to us. Move on.

the scum is where all the hatred should be aimed at
we all know c***s per 100 fans ratio millwall have more than palarse and charlton combined
"I hate Palace because they are scum and I hate Millwall because I am human"
I do wonder why other clubs' fans love spending time on here though. It's only our total planks that go on other clubs' sites.
Loathe Palace
Laugh at Millwall
thats my way if not the right way
I'm with the millwall guy. Local rivalry and bragging rights; though I don't know any charlton fans to brag at.....
I'll be rooting for the robins in this game. Hope you smash millwall.
