Ill be there, in the past we have taken some embarassing crowds to sellhurst and expect another poor turnout, the rommerdahl game was poor.
Was a poor turnout, but a great result for those who bothered and definitely the best game at shithurst in my time.
I know it's dependant on circumstances but it could be a lot worse! Go and support your team in a local derby ffs, I'm sure every derby game sees increased ticket prices it's not as if it's been hiked up by 200%, it equates to about a tenner!
I'll go, but I won't buy a programme or anything inside the ground (like food/beer etc.)
Take your own beer in !
Bloody good idea that. May give it a go.
you won't get a bottle or can past the gate stewards (body search) - even had to down a bottle of squash before being allowed in last time we played there!
What a fucking pisstake, the away stand is 95% wood! At that price I think we're entitled to throw all the chairs and smoke bombs we want. Regardless when do these go on sale and the eligibility?
farking miles away from me in essex and i've wasted enough of my life on the south circular on the 75 bus and in a car and wanky train journeys to and from london bridge to poxy norwood junction to last 20 life times only missed a handful of fixtures at selhurst in our exiled years
If it was a fiver less no-one would be talking about the price. £32 is obviously extortionate but £5 difference matters little in the long run and for a game like this you've just got to suck it up and go. Let's get some proper support there. COYR.
And some people on here would relish Premiership football! £32 will seem nothing then!
Yes it's a rip-off but football in england is a rip-off! I don't like it one bit but I have to be at this game and with no real extra travel costs, it means it's no more expensive overall than a trip to a Midlands team for example.
Anyway, the more that don't go the better for me ticket wise.
And before we get too "they are a disgrace ripping us off" etc, as Airman said if the home game had been Saturday 3pm, we would have charged them £30!!! A massive £2 difference.

I would like to take my son who is 9 yrs old - his ticket is £18, which makes £50 for the 2 of us. I wouldn't mind paying that price if I was guaranteed to see a performance, to see a team with attacking flair, taking on the opposition toe-to-toe and with gritt & determination.
I'm going tomorrow, have also have a ticket for Watford & Huddersfield................if the players show during those 3 games that they are up for it; that they have plenty of efforts at goal and even if we lose that we can come away saying " we were the better team, damned unlucky etc etc" then I'll go................
Gonna be there but it was not long ago they charged us £35 for a Sunday live on sky match. Why did we not just charge the £30 when they came to the Valley this season they still would have sold it out.

They didn't sell out at £25 so it's unlikely they would have done at £30, although I think it was a good turn-out by them in the circumstances. The discussion on here about their prices suggests £30 would probably have deterred some Palace fans, especially as it was live on Sky, plus I expect it would have affected our own sales. There would certainly have been complaints on here!

Along with 3.5 thousand others, who should all want to be at Palace regardless of having to pay 30quid.

18quid isn't that bad for concessions.
This one I will most def be going to.
They would have begun their slump by then... easy points, even for us.
