I'm flummoxed. SCP chose the team I wanted yesterday and we were mince. Goodness knows who to pick on Saturday. I'd go for:

    Hamer

    Solly, Cort, Dervitte, Evina

    Wilson, Pritchard, Stephens, Green

    Haynes, Kermit.

Logic - Morro needs a rest. Green needs a confidence boost and we have no one who can play on the left. Do I think this team will be selected? Not a chance.

I do agree the team looked ok on paper yesterday, but it just didnt happen till after half time!

Only joking. Just bored at work

    Serious line up

Hamer (Might be tempted to give Button a go though just for a change)
    Solly
    Morrison
    Cort
    Evina
    Wilson
    Pritchard
    Stephens
Jackson (I know he is slow, but with Evina he has pace behind him)
    Hulse
    Haynes

Subs, Button, Dervite, Taylor, Green, BWP, Kerm, Frimpong

5 3 2 with solly and wagstaff as wing backs.

3 solid defenders - 2 wing backs with bundles of energy, 2 centre mids with bundles of energy and 1 to do the playmaking / sit and receive the ball - 1 target man and one with real pace up front. Square pegs in square holes and no liabilities. (albeit wagstaff is arguably not a left wing back! but he has legs and that is what is needed - we aint got the quality, so lets at least have the energy. Fuller to come on for hulse in the last half hour.

f**k it, let's mix it right up.

Didn't get to the game yesterday but from match thread and reports sounded a game of two halves in which we were poor in the 1st and a bit better in the 2nd. So what is Chrissy thinking? 4-5-1 is my guess we have a point before kick off let's keep it tight until half time stay in the game and take it from there.

    Hamer,
Solly Moro Cort Evina (presumed fit ?)
    Wilson Pritchard Stephens Jackson Wagstaff
    Hulse

Second half impact subs if behind or on the hour mark if going for the 3 points Haynes & Fuller for Jackson or Stephens & Wagstaff COYR.........ffs

Try Wilson in central midfield, Haynes wide right, Kerkar wide left and Fuller and Hulse up front. We need to beware though of Hughes, 17 going on 27, an absolute star in the making in the Derby midfield. Hulse had a couple of years at Derby and had a pretty good scoring ratio with them. Let's hope he can score a goal or two on saturday: Hamer - Solly Morrison Dervite Evina - Haynes Wilson Pritchard Kerkar - Hulse Fuller

Like your thinking Lincs all out attack; however not enough defensive cover for my liking down the flanks :-0

I agree to a certain extent ... BUT ... a 'Defensive cover' gameplan is getting us 1-0/ 2-0 defeats, let's go for it, stop fucking about and attack attack .. attack attack attack .. we might lose but it'll cheer up the fans and the players are not suited to a defensive pass the ball around type of game

I hate to have to make so many changes BUT needs must. Pick this team and give it four or five matches together.

Must say I never like to see 1 up front at home, even against very good sides it sets the wrong tone, up and at 'em' for me in this league.

Same as yesterday except for Wilson or Evina in place of Seaborne. That team is solid, attacking and inventive with pace and skill.............it just needs the players to turn up from the outset like they did for the 2nd half and we'll win at a canter. Trust me.

..........I can't help loving Morro too much to leave him out of the team.

If fit Evina should play at left back. The rest of the defensive 5 should remain unchanged.

On the basis of how they played in the away fixture against Derby, both Green and Fuller should start. Further Charlton should play a passing game and for that reason Stephens should also start.

Wilson as our most consistent midfielder this season has earnt a place, as should Pritchard for his industry. Caution would see me select Dervite but I would be tempted to play Haynes as I think Derby could be completely overrun.

It will probably lack a bit of quality on the ball in midfield, but I don't believe we really have much of that anyway (I'm not a fan of Stephens based on what I saw last season and from the TV/Highlights this season). What the midfield will have is mobility and lots of energy. With Dervite sitting the other 4 will have licence to get up and around Fuller as much as possible when we have possession, and in Fuller we have a striker who we know the ball will stick to as long as our passes to him are accurate enough - that should encourage forward runs from midfield and give the defence the confidence to push up if the ball doesn't keep coming straight back at them.

I'm not a huge fan of Waggy either tbh, but he will cover a lot of ground (not always to massive effect) and has a goal in him (we need more goals from midfield) and he should be eager to please so I think he deserves a chance. There will be a responsibility on Solly and Evina to get forward and offer width as well, because Haynes and Waggy should be trying to tuck in alongside Fuller when we have the ball.

Unfortunately, we just don't have the players to out football teams so I think we should be putting out sides that will give us the best chance of out working sides. We will pick up more points that way imo.

Move evina anf solly to wing backs, tell Kermorgant and dervite to drop deeper/push up and get haynes and BWP to play wide and it might work
