    Are any red division going?

    Hope so.

    Wrinkly Division going, Stu..

Seriously, hope the lads turn it on for us and especially for those who missed last season's match due to train probs.

Altogether now .." Jingle bells, jingle bells...."

I do hope we get to belt out a verse of that.
  • Never been Hillsborough was hoping to make this season but have work Xmas party the night before so not for me
  • Arsenal have sold their 5000 allocation to Wigan. Will be interesting to see what other clubs take at this time of year. Hats off to anyone going.
  • Yup, looking forward to it, as is my 8 year old son. Chauffeuring Off It and his boy so a nice father and son theme. COYR'S
  • Fair play to anyone making the trip, not the best/cheapest for the weekend before Christmas.
  • Ive got a spare train ticket leaving 8.25 from ST P - leaving Sheffield 6.30ish. Any one want?

Really , for a 12.45pm game live on telly ....
Wow and I thought they're all glory hunters anyone who supports the likes of Arsenal ....

Fairplay to our travelling few and the local northerner based addicks.....

Sunderland playing at soton is a proper pisstake of a fixture
  • I shall be there, the thought of doing Christmas Shopping fills me with dread.

Come to Sheffield DP , you know you want to!

  • I know theres lot of factors (mainly cost) & time but i couldn't help taking a glancing look around when at Bolton at the ages of people there , we need to get more under 30's to away games somehow , otherwise our away support will only get lower in number in the future , 3000 to Millwall &7000 to Fulham are great , but this is the bread & butter.

Got our two tickets last week, going to be wet and miserable weatherwise so hoping for some pre Christmas cheer from the Addicks even a point will do COYR.
  • 8 of us going, no match tickets yet so we can add a few to the total! Looking forward to several glasses of Christmas port with the chaps.

I don't intend to fall off my perch for some time, MIA !

Youngsters ( under 30's) may lack the cash to travel all over the country following the team whereas some of us oldies may be mortgage free and are able to take advantage of the concession prices offered.

We had to put our supporting on hold, both home & away from the mid 70's to late 80's due to finances & family commitments.

  • working saturday then some sort of xmas do thing going on so cant make it.
last year was great, so i hope the same for those going up north.
  • Can't wait. Should be a 3 points, cracking stadium and on my way home from uni for xmas
  • Sorry Fanny i'm pleased you get to so many games , good on yer! what concerns me is the lack of younger people coming through , maybe its something that can't be changed and just the way things are i don't know.

Maybe your right , younger people do not have as much disposable income , and are tied up paying rent / mortgages / bills / student loans! even more reason for the players to put a shift in for those that do / can go.

  • wouldn`t miss it. Love Hillsborough, a proper football ground.
  • Actually Sheffield bit of s dump. Still here now and make the most of it! Bloody better win!
  • 9 on our coach leaving Bromley North.
  • Just having a dump, then we're off.
  • Still lounging in my bed, train not til 11.10. Hope the boys are up for the challenge of a miserable afternoon in South Yorkshire.
  • Surface water is bad in Sheffield - could be postponed.

  • Just contacted Wednesday, there is NO chance of a postponement. 3 points here we come!
  • there will 2 less, my cold/flu/germs have got the better of me, so I'll stay at home which will ensure our win, then I can grumble that we should have gone.

    COYA
  • 2 questions for anyone who knows the area... Any decent away pubs near the ground? Any bookies near/in the ground. Cheers
