The mystery of the Richard Cawley, the South London Press and the missing Charlton reports

Noticeable that there are reports on the weekend's games for Palace and Millwall but nothing on Charlton.

And on Friday no tweets from Chris Powell's press conference.

Have they been banned for running the Koc story as some speculated on the "Slater in the Programme" thread?

And if so why?

There is definitely something in this. There has been absolute radio silence on us for 4 or 5 days now if not more, including over a matchday weekend. It isn't normal.
  • has anyone tweeted him and asked?
  • Sounds like we are the new Bournemouth
  • According to Cawley's twitter, nothing has been posted about us since 4 December.

    Freedom of the press eh?

  • They don't want to associate with chair throwing hooligans

I was thinking that. I tune in to radio London on the way home from games and in the time it took me to get back to Swanley via Blacken I'm sure I didn't hear Charlton mentioned apart from the result. The thick plottens...

Edit: There's an interview on the BBC website so there must have been something??
  • I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation.

probably ... but conspiracies are more fun ;-)
  • maybe he is on holiday ?

  • maybe he is on holiday ?

He was still tweeting about the other two Sl clubs at the weekend.

And even if he was wouldn't the SLP have had a report from the Valley via another staff writer or even a freelancer.

  • No one likes us, seems we care !
  • "no one likes us, no one likes us..."

    ;~)
  • Thank Gawd for the good old news shopper I say. At least they still cover us.

If there's no report in tomorrow's edition, then something is not right.

  • Good to hear although that Glenn Southam sounds a bit dodgy
  • If they never reported on us again it would be too soon. No loss
  • I think Richard Cawley and Glenn Southam are the same person
  • I swear he only goes to Palace matches anyway

  • Talks about Palace the most on Twitter, and recently I've noticed more talk of AFC Wimbledon than us? Strange...

Why, will it be on Sky box office? If not, although I know who the two individuals are, can you elucidate please.
  • There is a situation between Slater and the SLP, as I expect Henry knows. But I think it should probably be left to them to explain or not as they see fit. Kevin Nolan is potentially caught in the crossfire, as he writes for the SLP.
  • Time to send his boy in I reckon ;)

Ah makes sense now, cheers Airman.
