I reckon Germany will definitely beat Hungary, so France Portugal is probably the better game.MuttleyCAFC said:
That will do nicely. I am still wondering which games to pick!Laddick01 said:Hoping for tonight:
France to smash Portugal
Hungary to nick a winner late on
And probably Spain in the other group.1 -
I would replace definitely with probably. Hungary will need a lot of luck but they played well against France. I might watch the Hungary v Germany game until Germany score. As for the other Group, I will probably watch Slovakia v Spain but will swap if Spain's play become too irritating. I just hate watching that style of play whether it is done well or badly!0

All the different group F outcomes on a single plot. England will play the team that comes second.
Result combinations => England opponents
France & Germany win => Germany
Portugal & Germany win => Portugal
France & Hungary win => Hungary
Portugal & Hungary win => Hungary or France dependant on scorelines
France win & draw => Germany
Portugal win & draw => France
Germany win & draw => France
Hungary win & draw => Portugal
Draw & draw => Germany

BBC are showing both England and Wales games in the next round.
Guess ITV will have the Quarter-Finals and BBC the Semi-Finals if we advance1 -
You're the only one hoping that surely! Come on you Magyar Postas. Any stamp collector in the 70s will know what I mean!ForeverAddickted said:1 -
If Hungary beat Germany we're basically hoping we can see off a team that beat Germany and held France, not sure that's much better!0

Hungary have been aided by playing in Budapest so far so have had a lot of home support - They're in Munich tonight so be surprised if they manage the upset.North Lower Neil said:If Hungary beat Germany we're basically hoping we can see off a team that beat Germany and held France, not sure that's much better!
Certainly shouldn't regard them as "Its only Hungary" if we do face them like you say though0 -
Some pundits can be really annoying, like the Ashley Coles.0

Agreed, some pundits can be annoying at times (e.g. the Chris Suttons and Robbie Savages) whereas Ashley Cole is just terrible0
-
He is dreadful…..get the ball to “The Kane, The Grealish, The Sterling” “The Mount should play next game” “England look better with The Maguire back in the team” STFU The Bellend.LawrieAbrahams said:Some pundits can be really annoying, like the Ashley Coles.3 -
Spain have now missed their last 5 pens0

Morata is cursed0

Clear cut pen but Spain have missed 5 penalities in a row now !
For those of you watching Sweden v Poland0 -
Probably not wanting a penalty shootoutricky_otto said:Spain have now missed their last 5 pens

Add Forsberg to that, saw Jorginho was still playing Monday, they both take pens but Jorginho was cheaper....North Lower Neil said:I used my wildcard thing on the fantasy league this week, as I thought loads of my team would be rested etc.
Without exception, every time I chose player A over player B, player B has scored.
I came so close to putting in Shaquiri, Damsgaard, Maehle and Wijnaldum who've scored 6 so far this week.
Oh and I took out Lukaku as I thought they'd rest him.0 -
Come to the conclusion I really dislike watching games in Seville. That’s not even a football stadium is it?1

It's terrible, games were supposed to be held in Bilbao, what was the reason for switching? I get venues have had to be moved for COVID but moving a venue within a country seems odd.ValleyGary said:Come to the conclusion I really dislike watching games in Seville.
