  • Been snowing here in Swanley since around 5pm. Not much at first but now getting heavier.

Put xmas tree up this afternoon & this now caps it. Where's Noddy when you want him.

    Ittttttssss Christmaaaaaaaasssss.
  • Harold Hill's got eight inches.
    Hard or soft?
  • .....as in compact or virgin
  • Quite a bit of snow here today here in Gloucestershire.
  • Snowing in Crayford but we can't match Harold Hill's eight inches!
  • Sleety snow in Lee
  • Nothing in Broadstairs yet.
  • Proper coming down in ME14
  • Just started in Golders Green
  • Family in TW when it started to snow. Blizzard on their way home in quickly deteriorating conditions.

Had to abandon their car about 2 miles from home as no way could they, or others get up the steepish incline towards their road. And NOT dressed for the weather !

Happily, a local farmer took pity on them & took them home 2 at a time on his quad bike !

    Country living eh ?

We've just had a power cut for around 30 mins but all Ok at the minute.

Due to take 7 yr old grandson to the Excel tomorrow for the Dinosaur Experience- his Xmas present...

Wonder if we'll make it & if the Cable Cars are running if we get there...

  • Heavy now in Dartford - looks lovely - at times like these, having a Land Rover Defender 110 (proper one - not the new imposter one) makes The Flash very smug indeed - if it carries on through the night, and is bad tmrw, family Flash can still drive with ease 😀😀

Just received an email from son's school in Sevenoaks that they will be closed tomorrow. Teachers who have to come in from surrounding areas are reporting that they probably won't be able to, so Head had decided early on to close for the day.

I live in a village not too far from Tunbridge Wells. Hills near us are impassable. Just nailing up board outside our house, saying “Rooms to let: £500 /night. Breakfast £50”.

    So have I.
Always assumed @blackpool72 referred to 72 millimetres.

  • Won't rise to these silly jokes.
