Agree DRF. I can guess why AB can't say too much and that must be frustrating but he hardly needs goading to speak his mind. I'm not saying he should shut up or move on but his words are his own and I don't think it is unreasonable for people to ask for clarification of his comments.
I do not know Rick, I’ve never met him but, it’s obvious by the tone of his postings that he’s very upset and annoyed by his treatment. Goading, cajoling, asking him to clarify his points or position, will only do harm to him and his case. Postings on a pubic website are not the forum to discuss matters of legal importance. We all wish Rick well in his pursuit of truth and justice and I’m sure sometime in the future we shall have all the answers we need to make a judgement on those running the club.
That camaraderie tells me that in many respects, Charlton is still a special club.
Always evident on Charlton Life!
Ah but in real life people are nicer, which is another potential benefit of the Trust, people will meet and realise that stroppy bloke is ok after all. You and I have Golden Earring in common after all :-)
I think this club is special. People I know who support other clubs acknowledge that we have a special history (ok, maybe not Palace supporters). The trials and tribulations of the last few years can't take that away from us.
It's a miracle we have a club to support at all and that's down to some very special individuals, who I hope are given due recognition when we celebrate the return to the Valley on Saturday.
