  • By Paul Walsh
  • Would be a great capture if true, this lads a real prospect
  • Development squad again.
  • Not sure how tall!? 20 yrs old: http://bohemianfc.com/?p=299
  • "He will be hoping to help change Charlton’s fortunes, as they currently sit 15th in the Championship and are only 9 points above the relegation zone."

    Thanks for the positive outlook.
  • Very good prospect was talking to a bohemians fan during my last visit said tge boy was mustard
  • Touchy touchy feely feely
  • I heard he can be a bit touchy sometimes
  • Sounds good. Some nice players have come across from Ireland recently.

I thought that - only 5 points off the Play Offs, can't he hope to push us further up the table?!

Agree could have been more positive, we're 5 points from a play off spot.

  • Great minds NLL.

    Ot idiots seldom differ!
  • We've got a lot of young defenders, especially centre backs, must mean (hope) he's very good?
  • Feely? Koc?

There are some feeble puns or conspiracy theories in there somewhere : - )
  • Is he 'Feely' saying something?

Yeah, have to laugh - real glass half empty way of saying it, rather than 5 points below the playoff places.

What is he like on FM ? Is he left footed for example? which would make him different to what we have already.

  • Only 179cm tall (5ft 9") - some will be unhappy...

That is actually very short for a centre half.
  • There was a link during the summer when he trained with us and the Mail had this story of Everton interest

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2201582/Kevin-Feely-wanted-Everton.html

He certainly looks touchy-Feely in that picture! :)

Spoke to mate over there who watches a few games. Has seen him mostly though on tv matches and says..."he seems ok...not sure he's up to that standard, but never know".

I have gone back and reminded him that he said something very similar about James MacLean when he was linked from Derry, just before his move to Sunderland!! ;-)

All good for the development squad. Should certainly be fit if he has played to that level of GAA Football as well.

Just had a look. Yes he is left footed, best position CB but is comfortable at LB. Born in Belgium but presumabely his parents are Irish. Rated as a squad player for them but with Championship potential.

Height is 6 ft 2 which seems more likely - where did you find out he was 5 ft 9 @cafc-west?

Contract ends 30th November apparently, must be when the Irish season ends. So I guess it could be announced on the OS in the next few days.

Will see if I can find anything else out.

We've not had a good Oirish Boyo for quite a while .. welcome
  • Text from a mate in Dublin.

Hard to say. If you're half decent in the LOI then you look like a world beater sometimes, he has GAA experience though which is good for a centre half because it usually means they don't mind sticking their head in. You're getting him at a good age too.

  • There's an interview with him on UTube/Bohemians Media .. he's an articulate clean cut lad who appears to know what he is talking about

    @Scoham I found it here: http://www.footballzz.co.uk/jogador.php?id=185719&epoca_id=141

    Hope you are right though!
  • GAA?

Gaelic Athletics Association - covers Gaelic Football and Hurling amongst other sports. If you've never seen those two games, they're two of the fastest flowing sports you'll fine. You need to be bloody fit and not afraid to get stuck in (despite officially being non-contact sports!!!!)

Chris Perry was about that height and it never seemed to be much of a hindrance, mind you Perry may have had a jetpack hidden somewhere to perform some of the jumps he did!
