Perhaps some wires have been crossed, but the article by Wyn doesn't make it very clear. Right where's me pills?0

Hope it's clear to all now.0

Wow, what a load of something and nothing.0

Fuck's sake. He has returned a trophy that he was asked to return. Move on.0

The original article quite clearly suggests that Semedo is involved in something insulting eg. the reference to runner-up Chris Solly now going to get the trophy as if it is the one from 2010, then the quote from Andy Hunt followed by the statement about returning a trophy from fans being unusual, plus Semedo's apparent love for Sheffield Wednesday being a 100 million times greater than what he felt for CAFC. Very misleading.0

No disrespect to Charlton.
His only crime was to keep it too long0 -

Can confirm you have that correct, Olly.Ollywozere said:Devils advocate here but......I'm pretty certain he's returned the trophy as he should have returned it a lot earlier. You get a little 'Player of the year' thing for yourself and of course the main trophy which is the club's.
Chris Solly is being presented on Saturday with the trophy for LAST SEASON not the season before. At least that's what I read out in the link when I filmed the Preview Show for CAFCPlayer this afternoon!
Pretty sure some wires have been crossed
Many months after Ian Wallis requested that said Cup be returned for presentation to the 2011-12 POTY, it finally arrived. Allegedly, it spent a lovely holiday in Portugal before it was sent back ...
Thanks should go to Chris Parkes ( and Ian ) for their tenacity in retrieving it.
It will be presented on Saturday by a young lady who won the honour in the POTY raffle and who has been patiently waiting since early August to perform the handover.
well ive never blushed while using charltonlife before... (red smiley face) good sport fanny, ha!bloodnut said:

The young lady presenting the trophy is my daughter and she has indeed been waiting patiently for her moment. Will be a very proud Mum on Saturday

I loved Semedo. There are some on this thread that need to stop being idiots. On Saturday I will applaud Solly as I did Semedo. Player of their respective years.0

My daughter is the young lady that Fanny mentioned and is presenting the trophy to Solly . She has indeed been patiently waiting for her moment on the pitch. I will be a very proud Mum0

Posting without reading as I don't awant to be influenced by anything anybody has to say, ever.
This is an absolute outrage and somebody should do something about this disgusting disrespectful act of petty vindictiveness, to think we ever thought he was fit to wear the shirt, Operation Pig should be made to come on here to apologise personally on behalf of all massives.0 -

Shows how poor we were that he got player of the season - always gave his all but limited player.0
