  • Bradley Pritchard day anyone ? :)
  • Loved Pritch before I'd even seen him play. In a pre season interview on CAFCPlayer before the start of last season. IMO his signing heralded a new beginning for CAFC. In that interview he displayed an overwhelming pride in becoming a Charlton player and gave the impression that he was so honored that he would play for no monetary reward if requested. That kind of attitude is infectious and has gone a long way in shaping the great team spirit that Powell has managed to build. His performance on the pitch away at Fulham in the cup convinced me that he has the talent to make it to the very top. He has the ability, the engine and the intelligence to make the very most of his talent.

Well said Queensland. You really can't buy that kind of boost to team spirit.
  • I saw him score (at Halifax). Weren't many there but surely i am not the only one?

Also his smile and celebration on the pitch after Carlisle sums up what this chance means to him. Well pleased for him. Keep it up!
  • We need a song for him! Any ideas?
  • Celebration to his consolation goal V Halifax:

    Pure passion!!!!!!!
  • Brad Pritchard Pritchard
    He's better than Frank Lampard
    Or even Steve Gerrard
    Brad Prtchard Pritchard
  • Good.
  • Sounds good!
  • A good, well thought out piece. It sums up not only Bradley but the whole squad this season .. not the most naturally gifted but they work like f**k for the club and for one another
  • Short in stature ... but big in heart , love the fella.

  • He's not the tallest, the smallest, but he beats them all,
He's not the fattest, the thinnest, but he'll always win it,
He's the fastest, the fittest, Pritchard is a winner,
He's a record breaker, Prozone record breaker,
    He's a record breaker.

To the record breakers tune of course
  • a great example to many other more "naturally talented" players in the game ,hes the sort of player who is admired by his team mates and management and liked by the fans simply because he gives 100 percent effort and enthusiasm .Hes not the best footballer at the club but who has a better attitude ?

Not unlike a modern day john robinson or steve gritt
  • Early last season I watched a cup game at the valley (I think it was JPT match) four players stood out, two for the wrong reasons and two for the right reasons. It was a certain right backs last game for us as he left for Bournemouth likewise a striker, who left for Swindon Town soon after. Those that stood out for the right reasons were Bradley Pritchard and Cedric Evina both of whom put in good performances.

Since then Pritchard has deputised in the first team and grown in stature over the season past, unfortunately Evina has not made as much progress but, I think he is capable of doing so given the opportunity. Bradley Pritchard has continued his improvement and is now unrecognisable from the player that started in the cup match. The thing about him is that he is still improving, even from the start of this season he gains more awareness and stature as his games tally grows. His fault was his habit of being mugged by more seasoned pro’s but, despite the extra quality on show at this level he seems to have largely cut that out of his game.

    Good post.
  • Love the fact he's from non league
Austin also but gets goals so gets all the media attention but its good he's low key so hopefully stays with us
    Lot of potential
    Good honest lad
  • Morrison, Solly, Wiggins and Fuller could all cope in the prem
