I didn't hear anything - but saw DH and SCP's reaction.

To be honest it's difficult to identify a couple of ignorant twats in a stand who are 30 yards away from you - particularly with my eyesight :-).

He strode through the Burnley fans after the game head held high with his kit on.

"I'm not going to be intimidated by this bunch of Northern nobodies"

Sometimes, they make you feel so proud.

Blimey! Incidentally how old is he? If you say 42...
  • He's black, of course it was racial abuse.

Diouf got aload of abuse today and the Daily Mail reported it as racial straight away until Diouf put them straight.

    Getting stupid now.
  • Remember hearing Monkey noises directed at Kelly Youga in the background to the radio commentary when we played at Turf Moor a few years ago and didn't Burnley have a BNP council at one point? Wouldn't be surprised if it had a racial element to it because surely CP must get sworn at all the time without reacting like that?

If there was a racial element I hope he reports it.
  • He said it was a nothing incident.
  • Didn't Burnley have Clarke Carlisle a few seasons back? One of the biggest supporters of the kick it out campaign???? I

    Exactly right

if there there was racist abuse directed to him or his players that he or they heard it woukdve been reported as such i would like to think

We can not all get the ache about things like the black lawyers association (or whatever they are called) for looking for things that aint there if we then do the same thing

Sir chrissy has said that it was a nothing incident and assuming it was anything other than that does not help weed out those guikty of it

not sure what's "dick"ish about that.

I personally agree with the quote. A black person can't be in the news these days without it being deemed racially motivated. What is this fascination with the colour of someone's skin?

People abuse people in all walks of life - football is no different.

    If I call a white guy a prick it's because I think he's a prick
If I call a black guy a prick it's because I think he's a prick - not that he should "f*&$ off home" or should be serving me food which is how too many people seem to portray things nowadays. It's getting out of hand and very boring.
