How longs the train up there?
  • Won't be a lot of us lads but a few are coming, I wanna see how much coach is an if it isn't too sad then i'll be there
  • Last time I went up there was for a midweek game by train - and when I arrived the game had been called off!

For that reason I'll be keeping my cash in my pocket.

That don't sound to good.. Surely a train will be quicker? Get one of you lads to give me the drum and ill do the damage
  • I'll be there. First back to back away games for me in a long time. 7 hr drive from Cornwall!

Can anyone tell me the quickest way from Bromley?

London City Airport to Manchester Airport and a cab. Cheapest will be the coach £22.

  • Visiting fans have generally advised the avoidance of pubs in the town centre. Several away fans have enjoyed a pre-match drink in The Bridge, in Bank Parade, about a 10-minute walk from Turf Moor, which reportedly has an excellent atmosphere, serving good beer and food. Real Ale fans will enjoy The Ministry Of Ale on Trafalgar Street.

"As a visiting supporter to Turf Moor I HAVE to recomend the Thornton Arms pub, located about 1 mile away from the Ground, just off Brunshaw Road (Post Code BB10 3JS for your Sat nav). This place is an away fans dream; Huge FREE car park, away fans are practically given their own bar area, great food and beer sold, no hassle wearing your colours……It’s a must!!
The Cheapest hotel is probably the travel lodge located next to Thompsons Park.
The nightlife in Burnley is suprisingly lively for a small(ish) town….Avoid The Big Window & The Turf Hotel!!
The ground itself is a little disapointing for away fans, very shabby, but a lively atmosphere"
  • Train is quite expensive so 22 quid coach ticket and 15 (I think) quid U19 ticket.. I'll be there

11 carriages if it's one of the extended Pendolinos, otherwise 9 carriages.

CrayAddick The journey from Bromley South via Victoria, Euston, Preston to Burnley main line takes 3hours 47 minutes according to Transport Direct. The coach will take about 5 hours and the plane about an hour.
  • Dunno abou drums cos we have to ring up and see if they allow it before hand

Well if any Millwall fans come on this site, we've got a reputation to keep up :-)
