Was impressed when i saw the Moses lad, he looked like he could perform miracles....

Hasn't Martin got his own scaffolding company ? 'Sorry gaffer can't play Saturday, we've got a big contract down at Bluewater....'[/quote]

I'm hoping Moses will step into the valley next seson and part the red sea!

Good old Dartford dave was a window fitter..... a true Glazier! and better still he was released by Brighton, which looks like a major mistake by our friends from the coast (shame).

    what?
that sounds like a millwall bank holiday.
  • AAAAAGH! Just posted about Robin Friday, clicked on Add Comments and the 'page not available' came up and I've lost the whole damned post!

Isn't there a way to save or draft posts when this happens?

    * going red in the face and looking for the cat to kick*
  • click your back button loads of times and try and find it that way.
  • Robin Friday - Reading legend, so my Royals mate Trevor, tells me.

Even had a book written about him, something like Best or Greatest Player You Never Saw.

Apparently he was a law unto himself, untamed loony character, but with brilliant skills and goalscoring ability and worshipped by all at Elm Park about 20 years ago.

Of course, like all good legends, he's dead now......
  • Thanks, Len - although it didn't work for me.

I re-wrote the post in the end.
