Pardew was sacked following our 5-2 defeat to Sheff U. Second half was,so bad I'm still stunned.
Mistake after mistake and players seemed completely clueless about the formation.
CP didnt have a clue today and I felt embarrassed watching this.

Dreadful!!!!!!

    Barnsley second half was a worse performance.

    Today's scoreline was worse but, in my view, most of that was because of individual errors rather than poor team performance.

    strange, but thinking back to those games, the common demominator in at least 2 of them (Millwall & D&R) was playing players out of position !!!

    Oh yes. And Stevenage away too. Plus a few more. I can only think that the original poster doesn't go to that many games. Today wasn't great, but let's be honest Borough could very likely be in the Premier League next year so are in a position to punish our multiple mistakes.

    It wasn't great, but it probably wasn't even in the top ten of bad performances over the last few years.

    3-1 loss to exeter i think it was. Infront of a £5 ticket crowd so was pretty busy. Doherty scored an OG or something like that. was bad... really bad

    What the hell Dagenham away Brighton and Exeter both home Sheffield utd 2-5 that one took me about 13 hours to drive home through some off the worst snow i have every seen,could also say Wigan away 3-2 defeat what was the date of that 11th Nov Dowies last game in charge.
    Do not see many games now but still come along when money and time allow.My nearest club is AGOVV Apeldoorn.
    Sure i could think of more games but once bitten only one team to follow come what may.

    Biggest overreaction ever. Wasn't even as bad as the 4-2 defeat to Notts County last season. When are people going to realise that if we were to finish the season bottom half it means we will probably lose more games than we will win.

    Having been at all the above games I am pretty certain yesterday was nowhere near as bad.

    And the thing is that unlike the end of Pardew and Parky the fans are all still together and behind the manager..

    If Golf honestly thinks yesterday was as bad as Millwall or Dagenham away then I would have said he might be a WUM, miserable sod who panicks at the first sign of trouble

    That loss to Gillingham in the FA Cup was fairly unpleasant. My dad still won't go back to Gillingham under any circumstances

    Talking about the game at dagenham it was green they took us apart in both games , I remember his cool pen in front of charlton crowd and Parkinson's being sent to the stands . Can't get in the team now .

    When are people going to realise the difference between individual mishaps and a whole team playing poor.

    Wycombe cup game, Reading away the game after and Millwall 4-0 were games where no one bothered to turn up and play.

    Yesterday was not one of those games. Some players who are normally consistent made mistakes and we didn't convert the chances we had at the other end. Simple as that.

    Am I the only one that thought Barnsley was alot worse than yesterday. Yesterday was a case of us being a poor championship side who have injuries and missed chances against a very good Championship side who were absolutely clinical. Stats may show otherwise but it weren't until game was done and dusted when they started carving us open.
