makes me smile some comments on here....yes we were poor...but that does not excuse a professional ref missing a stonewall penalty for EITHER side or a right hook!!!
I thought the ref was ok. He played the advantage well in the first half and generally showed a bit of common sense. I'd like to see the Solly penalty shout again, but I wasn't convinced at the time and the ref was well positioned to make the call. The ball definitely wasn't over the line near the end.
We all have a psychological need for scapegoats from time to time but our problems today were of our own making.
He was absymal, some of the decisions astounded me - but fair play to the guy for not sending Solly off towards the end. I thought he was going to dish out a second yellow when he followed Solly up the pitch.
Does anyone know what was going on with Fuller in the first half? He looked like he was getting pretty frustrated down there.

Not sure what the player did to aggravate him, but I saw Fuller shove the guy with 2 hands, risky.
The ref is an easy excuse. We just can't use it every time we lose. I don't think the Solly incident was a penalty, I think that Wilson deserved his booking. I think Solly deserved his yellow card, I do however think there #7 was lucky not to get a red.
Refs make mistakes. None of the refs mistakes today would have changed the result. We were just rubbish unfortunately.

No excuses we lost to the better side.

I think Fuller was very lucky to stay on the pitch. In the first half he got dispossessed by their #7 and tried to kick him which was very blatant.
