i think the performances against palace and derby in the first hour of both were shocking and the fear of not having much to come in have lead to negativity

we wont be top half and that's my crystal ball saying that and it gets most things charlton right
  • If we were losing to League one teams then fair enough for the negativity but we are new to this league and need to adjust.

How much time can we afford to adjust? You can't afford to wait too long, and leave yourself too much to do. Look at the Prem season in 1998. By the time we picked up towards the end of the season, we were already out of reach of safety. Too early to talk like that, but I dont want to take any chances and would rather strengthen now.

I really think relegation would be a big problem to us financially.

Think the majority of us have our feet firmly planted on the ground, oohaah.

Top half would be great , of course but it's not the the end of the world if we don't achieve it this season.

Far better to consolidate & build for the next and, with a bit of careful investment, who knows where we might be by May 2014.

As long as we hold on to SCP /our best players and avoid the drop, think I'll be satisfied.
  • I will personally be delighted with top of south london & somewhere between 10th - 18th this season, which i think we will achieve.

Actually thought about it more if i could have my wish of top in south london, it might be much better to finish 21st.
  • Remember, it's a marathon not a sprint. Have faith in the Board and CP. Up to now they've done no wrong.
  • We need to improve we have time to do it

    No need for panic

    Keep calm and carry on
  • As the old saying once went..... "Sheffield united will come good"

Which I know is completely pointless for our situation. Yet if we just change a couple of the words..... then maybe..... ah ha, I think I got it.....

    "Charlton Athletic will come good"
