The (riot) police could of dealt with it better, making somewhat of a "wall" with 5mins before k/o by the chip shop and having to ask them if you could go through was a bit pointless and time consuming..but what do you expect from people who can't do their jobs properly.
Almost got into a scuffle with Arsenal fans in The Lost Hour in Greenwich before the game though.
The "youngsters" as they were only like 16/17 we're claiming how they were hardcore fans after only ever going to 1 Arsenal game, so when told to "shut up you mugs" they we're like "oh we're gonna glass you if you say anything more"..they did absolutley nothing
London Bridge was Mayem at around 7, also alot of palace wankers tryna act hard buy starting on you, they dont relise their on the train and im not? + very busy and the poilce didnt have a scooby what they was doing, i got told to go platform 4 for charlton, then platform one by another, then platform 4 then 1 ect..........

I wonder about the sense in playing such a tense game on a Friday evening, with fans (and spotty ultras) all crammed onto the same trains as commuters and the scope for all afternoon drinking?
I was outside the shops as they arrived last night, all full of shandy. Saw quite a few cans and stuff being thrown in both directions and a bottle was thrown towards us, which smashed just by my feet. The funniest thing I saw was a charlton fan scooping up horse shit with his bare hands and lobbing it towards the nigels.
All got a bit silly after the game. Can't understand why the police let both sets out at the same time, seperate them up the hill until the shops, then it's a free-for-all from then on, then they wonder why it all started kicking off.
Just wish those who want a rumble afterwards just fuck off and meet up to trade handbags elsewhere. Plenty of old people and kids looking very distressed from both sides last night.

Scooping up horse shit?....Nice.
Very true re segregation outside, would have been better to have kept Palace behind for 1/2 hour (they do it at Millwall so why not at Charlton), would also make life easier for those catching London bound trains.
