  • Someones 7 yr old daughter didnt get out of my misses' way when were getting off the train.
  • Bloke in pub saying something went of in the con and or lib, don't know if true
  • Reuters reports of a few skirmishes after game.
  • No. Palace shut up on their way out and were suitably respectful.
  • Quite a few scuffles by con club/shops and heard it kicked off at station.

Shame our players didn't show similar aggression and fight
  • Yeah kicked off a bit around near the station /shops
  • saw a palace fan with his head opened up ,bottled probably, still slept well

palarse fan with a bandage round his head.
  • Few palace got a dig at the station. Mainly kids.
  • palarse fan with a bandage round his head and covering his eye. Think he lost an eye LOL!

Mate, seriously, tell me you don't actually think it's amusing that someone may have lost an eye over a football match?

  • Unpleasant skirmishes at the station. Big beasties straining at the leash and baring their teeth at me as I walked to the station. The dogs were none too friendly either.
  • we saw trouble by the shops at top of hill, horses were running at palace fans. saw a man covered in blood in a corner round the back of the shops. He was throwing up as well, I was worred about him and am glad he got his head bandaged up.

Banter and a scuffle is fair enough for those wanting to 'play', but if that really happened then it's nolaughing matter. I'm pretty sure you meant that tongue in cheek?

  • I was mightily pissed off last night, but would not see that as any excuse to attack any Crystal Palace fans. To glory in the fact that a Crystal Palace fan may have lost an eye is sick.
  • I opened up a few of the stripey carnts last night, claret everywhere. Also ironed out a young family of five all dressed up like Billy Smarts fuckin Circus in red n blue, carnts and the old Palarse slag I twatted in Ranson Walk she went darn like a sack of red n blue spuds because she reminded me of Thatcher, carnt, we kicked her zimmer frame all the way to the station where had a face up with OB and took a police orse aht with a paving stone, did we all laugh? well no you carnts because we dont give a toss bart animal rights, right?

And as for my critique of Powell's team selection and our propensity to hoof ball against a technically superior passing team, well I was aghast and quite frankly found it thoroughly disappointing. The whole spectacle left me cold.
  • The steward near where I was sitting was saying something went off in Blackheath before the game. Don't know if true or not though
  • Their fans were very quiet walking out, much as I would hope ours would be walking out of their place to avoid fights.
  • Not a chance of our fans keeping quiet if we won there!
  • not 'pwoper trouble' but my mum had her car jumped on when parking behind the west by a load of Nigels. Pick on someone your own size. God I hate them. Despicable cowards.
  • Their fans I saw after the game weren't that quiet... Saw a few of them take a few slaps though.

Soapy - funny post there, straight out of a Danny Dyer show!

  • Saw a few 16 year olds at station trying to be hard mainly with the old bill cos they know they wouldnt respond back!

    Wankers.

    Bit of a generalisation no?
    Football rivalry is so stupid.
  • Lots of Palace fans shouted, lots of Charlton fans shouted. Some said not very nice things. Nobody would have done it if they weren't surrounded by hundreds of coppers.
  • I was outside the shops as they arrived last night, all full of shandy. Saw quite a few cans and stuff being thrown in both directions and a bottle was thrown towards us, which smashed just by my feet. The funniest thing I saw was a charlton fan scooping up horse shit with his bare hands and lobbing it towards the nigels.

All got a bit silly after the game. Can't understand why the police let both sets out at the same time, seperate them up the hill until the shops, then it's a free-for-all from then on, then they wonder why it all started kicking off.

Just wish those who want a rumble afterwards just fuck off and meet up to trade handbags elsewhere. Plenty of old people and kids looking very distressed from both sides last night.
  • This is the point. If our violent fans and their violent fans want to get naughty that is totally wrong but if they keep it between themselves then I am not interested. But when they want to start jumping on my Mum's car...She doesn't even have a CAFC badge on display or anything so for all they know could have just been a random woman on her own with something to do with Palace. Fucking imbeciles.
  • was in Blackheath last night only people i saw were CAFC.
  • I avoided the station after the game (and went to N Greenwich), no way was I taking a train back to London Bridge full of deliriously happy, chanting Palace fans (a definition of hell you'd agree). I can't remember the last time I've seen riot police at The Valley, and it wasn't a nice experience, it brought me back to the dark days of the 80s....

It was interesting how few of them were wearing colours, were they genuinely afraid of being attacked (there were comments along those lines before the games on Holmesdale net)?

  • anyone see what happened at the station? two blokes next to me getting on the train sounded really pleased with themselves for hitting someone and i saw several police with the riot helmets running towards the exit?
  • Plenty of Palace took a dig on Floyd Road afterwards.
