Best way by train is probably to go Liverpool Street to Cambridge and change there

That's the way me and a few others are doing!

Looking at the times, it's actually slower that way...

Have any arrived yet? I booked mine on 29th Aug and got the 'We'll get those in the post, first class' line, but still no sign.

Mine arrived couple of days after ordering them. Think that was last Wednesday

  • Our train tickets read 'London (any)' this may be blindingly obvious, but does this mean we dont need a travelcard? just a retrun fare to london? cheers

My understanding (check before travelling) is that this ticket entitles you to travel from any mainline London station (in this case Kings X / L'pool St) to your destination. You will need another ticket / travelcard to travel across London (or alternatively have a ticket that specifically states the name of your local station to Ipswich).
  • Any idea how many we have sold? I'm looking forward to this one, although it sounds like there won't be many of us there
  • About 500 but with two weeks to go I wouldn't read a great deal into that.
