@lancashire_lad I watched the whole stream so feel free not to include these marks into your final total.

Hamer - 5 - Big blunder with the 1st goal and looked a bit dodgy all match which is unusual for him
    Solly - 6 - Average not quality
Morrison - 6 - Some good tackles but like the rest of the defense he was torn to pieces by Forest's passing game
Cort - 5.5 - There was no ariel battle for him to dominate and he lacked agility at times
Wiggins - 6 - Nothing going forward and he was average defensively
Cook - 4.5 - Not in the game at all
Hollands - 5.5 - was chasing shadows so he couldn't offer anything going forward
Pritchard - 5.5 - Got overpowered in midfield
Jackson - 5 - Not in the game on the wing but when moved to centre mid he did well and spread the ball about nicely, shame he was only there for about 5-10 mins.
Kermorgant - 6 - Lacked service so wasn't in the game much
    Wright Phillips - 6 - Ditto Kermorgant
Haynes - 4.5 - Did nothing at all

Fuller and Kerkar both made an impact when they came on and probably ended up being our 2 best players even though they only played for 5 mins.

  • Hamer 5. At fault for the first goal
Solly 7. Wasn't able to get forward much. One excellent late surge.
    Morrison 6. Hard afternoon's work
Cort 6.5 won a lot of high balls one superb tackle may have saved a goal
Wiggins 6. As Solly minus the surge.
Cook 4. Why was he given that role? Needs to think faster
Hollands 5. I hope this was just an off day
Pritchard 5. I thought he did ok fighting the tide.
Jackson 4. As Hollands but insert "really really"
Kermorgant 5. Not his best. But there are better defenders around this season.
Wright Phillips 5. With hindsight should have been sacrificed for a 4-5-1
Haynes 5. Didn't make an impact

    Fuller n/a

  • Hamer - 3 -appalling star jump for the first goal and jittery throughout
Solly - 6 - given more trouble than usual
Morrison - 5 - not as commanding as usual
    Cort - 5 - ditto
Wiggins - 5 - looked to play aimless balls up the line all the time
Cook - 4 - failed to shine..... anonymous
    Hollands - 6 - battled.... in vain
Pritchard - 4 - extra point for effort/willing but looked out of his depth
Jackson - 3 - again.... where is the real JJ????
Kermorgant - 6 - put body on the line but was 2nd bes for most of the game
Wright Phillips - 5 - no service to him left him anonymous
    Haynes - 4 - invisible

  • Hamer 4 At fault for the first goal, looked shakey all game
    Solly 7 solid
Morrison 5 struggled with Forest movement
    Cort 5 same as above
Wiggins 5 never got forward at all. gave the ball away a lot in the first half
Cook 3 never settled, not sure how much was his fault as he was moved from the right to the middle to the left to up front
Hollands 6 Got overrun as he had no help from the other midfielders
    Pritchard 5 struggled throughout
Jackson 4 Struggled on the wing yet again, looked better in the middle but still doesn't look good enough.
Kermorgant 5 struggled to win as many headers, but probably down to the lack of service
Wright Phillips 5 struggled no service
    Haynes 3 Didn't look interested

Powell 2 messed around with the formation too much.

Only plus point was Fuller looked a threat as soon as he came in strong and good with the ball at his feet. Kerkar looked half decent aswell.

  • Oh, if you didn't realise, Cook was disgracefully bad
  • That's shocking marking, se9. Makes a mockery of the system.
  • It's not mate. It's my opinion and that was the worst individual performance since the bad days a few years ago.

Thought Fuller showed more in his short cameo than the rest put together, sorely lacking any craft or creativity throughout.

  • Don't normally comment on marking, but you make yourself look silly with that marking se9.

Mate I can't think of many ways it could have been worse, they were completely dominating us down that side, Cook offered Solly no support and we were lucky we only let in one goal from that flank in the first half. It was so bad Cook was switched with Jackson after half time and then shortly after subbed.

I'm not drunk and look at my previous ratings, I'm not knee jerk but I was disgusted with that performance. A 1 is warranted by a performance with no redeeming features - I saw none from Cook's display today.
  • Hamer - 6 at fault for the first goal, no way he should be beaten from that angle.
Solly - 7 Solid, even though he was left seriously exposed.
Morrison - 7 Don't think he did much wrong, couple of good tackles.
Cort - 6 Some decent headers away, when we were being bombarded.
Wiggins - 6 Couldn't do anythng but hoof it into the box and hope.
Cook - 4 Looked like a boy up against men.
Hollands - 6 Let down by his fellow midfielders.
Pritchard - 4 Chasing shadows , no real position.
Jackson - 5.5 Looked more comfortable in the middle.
Kermorgant - 5 Did the best with what he had
Wright Phillips - 6 Didn't get much service but took up a position on the right to cover for Cook/Pritchard
Haynes - 5 Not sure if 100% fit or just a bit lazy.

    Fuller n/a
Kerkar n/a These two looked very good when they came on , completely changed the game momentum. Look forward to seeing more of Fuller.

  • Hamer - 5.5 - At fault for first goal, and looked shaky all match
    Solly - 7 - Gave a good performance overall
Morrison - 6.5 - Can't remember too much of him, needs to be stronger at organising defence in my opinion.
    Cort - 6.5 - Ok, nothing special
Wiggins 6 - Poor in first half, but better second.
Cook - 4.5 - Felt sorry for him, put out of position and really struggled
Hollands 6 - Played ok, hard work for him.
Pritchard 4.5 - Energy can only get you so far, looked really poor and stood out as weak.
Jackson 5 - Dreadful first half, but was stronger in the middle in the second half
Kermorgant 6 - Couldn't do too much, Forest centre-halves were good.
Wright Phillips 6 - No service of any kind, but played ok on the right.
    Haynes 5.5 - Not good.

    Fuller n/a - 9 Changed the game.
    Kerkar n/a 7.5 - Looked talented.

Fuller 8 on the time he played, looked very strong on the ball, can't wait to see more of him.

  • Hamer 6 poor first goal
    Solly 7
Morrison 6 struggled. didn't help with no midfield
    Cort 6 same as above
    Wiggins same again
    Cook 3 total shit
Hollands5 tried but not good enough
    Pritchard 4 shit
    Jackson 3 shit
Kermorgant 5 no service from midfield
    Wright Phillips same as above
    Haynes 5 nuff said

thought all our problems came from a wank performance in midfield . not worried but slightly concerned at our lack of quality and know how in the middle.

se9addick, to get a 1 you'd need to score about 6 own goals. The most annoying thing is you're just wasting Lancashire Lad's time by dicking about with the scores like that. In fact, anyone who's bothered to put player ratings in for this match has wasted their time. And everyone who subsequently puts in marks as you've skewed the marking for Cook so badly. Might take a leaf out of Henry's book and abstain from the player marks if the result is this shit
  • Mate I've explained why I think Cook deserves a 1. My ratings, surprisingly, aren't pegged to the number of own goals a player scores rather I rate their contribution to the team.

Stick your player ratings from today's game up to balance things out.
  • To balance what you've done out I'd have to give Cook a 10. Which he doesn't deserve. Rating Cook at a 1 obviously doesn't make sense but if you're determined to stick with it then I'm not going to waste my time doing a load of ratings when it is now pointless. Been an embarrassing day for this board
  • Players marks thread. Take your pointless bickering elsewhere.
  • Not really mate, if 50 people give a mark then mines will only have a 2% influence on the result. That's how averages work.

Dont feel disheartened from having your say simply because I have.
