  • Overwhelming support for green, yet chris powell seems to favour wagstaff

Which considering he managed us to 101 points last year suggest's he knows better then any of us, whoever he picks.
I'm not questioning any of decisions , obviously his judgement is better than mine , however it just shows sometimes the fans have different views to the gaffer
  • iIt does seem like it is only "halo or horns" when your pet player is not given the nod. I think that neither are good enough for the championship but I have not shared a table with any of them at the "Player of the Year Award"

Hardly overwhelming and I would value the opinion of a man who has played at international level and broken several mangerial records over any number of opinionated fans. For what its worth I don't think either will be exceptional at Champ level but as the mantra goes, in CP We Trust.

  • Can't see Green having a long term future ahead of him. Jackson, Hollands, Stephens all almost definite starters, and would definitely have Pritchard ahead of Green. Cook looks like he could do more than Green, depending on how he progresses this season. I reckon we should try and get a bit of money for Green now while we still can.
  • One or the other for the whole 46 games Wagstaff would give you about 25 good performances, Green 10.
  • Both as bad as each other. League 1 players at best.
  • Green.

He had a few greddy moments the other night in the cup, but it was the cup. overall he will contribute a lot more than waggy over the course of the season just like he did last season.

The boy oozes flair and needs the fans to really get behind this season, something which won't happen but hey ho.
  • Waggy all day long
  • I would have bought/signed a new RM but I'm not sir Chris.

Waggy or Green? Waggy or Green?

    Wagstaff pace and finishing.
Green Crossing and skill on the ball.

Why can't we have Wagreen he'd be good.

Or Greenstaff. He'd be even better and probably easier chants.

  • Or Waggeen , erm. Better not that..
  • Green has flair and skill? More than Wagstaff, but how often does he beat a player with quick feet or a trick?
  • Based on last season, Green.
I'll make my mind up after watching them both against Champ oppo.

Agree. Plays more to feet and scores goals. Could be really good when Fuller is on as he needs it to feet.

  • Okay. Pritchard!
  • oh lor! not again
  • One of them is going to have to get transfered just to put a stop to this!
  • Okay. Pritchard!

    THIS - end of thread.
  • Pretty certain one of them is gonna go.
