I am thinking of turning up, but have some concern , will the game go head given how much rain has fallen in the last few day and is falling at the moment. How well does the welling ground drain or is prone to being easily water logged.

I'll be honest with you, it's like Atlantis atm...=D
Was considering it, but given the weather forcast says "chance of storm" I don't fancy standing on an open terrace for 2 hours getting drenched. Not sure if I'd even contemplate doing that for a league game these days.......................................

Lightweight.
I bet you weren't even at Yeovil.
(PS I'm not going because a) I live in Southampton and 2) I'm going to a wedding)
Im down road from welling, drizzle at moment. pitch looked fantastic the other day. Post above confirms my own thoughts that the game should be fine, its fairly warm out aswell, hopefully brightens up fully near kick off.
see you at the game, dont forget the happy hour in the WINGS BAR between 1:00pm and 2:00pm where pints are £2.50 and bottled beers £2
Last seasons curtain raiser should be on the big screen from 1pm.
