Bexley Ken and I were discussing this over a beer yesterday - going to Welling and hardly recognising a single Charlton player... and then never seeing those players again! Are we giving a start to A. Trialist again this year, does anyone know? He must be getting on a bit now.
Having said that, I would've gone had I not been invited to a BBQ.
Massive game for us, It really is appreciated that Charlton send such a strong team each year.
Its nice that a lot of Charlton fans have a soft spot for Welling and that Charlton continue to support Welling with the friendly. Its easy to take things for granted but you can all be sure, that all at PVR are extremely grateful for the continued big game for us of the curtain raiser and the excellent relationships between the clubs and the fans.
can i be the first to say that it was a drab 2-0 victory...i didn't recognise half of them...it was pissing down...and Heskey didn't offer us anything up front.
Maybe we won't see this Spanish keeper as it would make more sense to play him in those friendlies in Spain rather than drag him all the way to Welling
All you guys that are going to be in the directors box....well all I can say is if the opportunity arrises to ask a pertinent question here or there then take it....and keep your ears open!

Last year was fun playing name the player, this year will be more ordinary.

Any trialists? Or will we only find out tomorrow? I'm also looking forward to seeing Cook and Wilson for the first time in a CAFC shirt.
