What is quite frustrating is to hear about how people think the coaching tactics have not evolved, we don't use small pitches etc etc.
And we've been hearing people complain about that since the last World Cup. Now, it's two years later and we still have the same problem and people are still complaining about it. What a lot of supporters don't think about is the amount of time it takes to implement this style across the whole of the country. How many of these idiots who phone into 606 actually know what's going on the training field with youngsters these days I wonder?
It's going to take 10-15 years for it all to work, if we do it properly. Until we actually win something, we are going to be hearing these supporters come up with these same complaints whether these changes are being made or not.
It will take time, but it still doesn't explain why at international level Gerrard, Young, Parker etc struggle to consistently make accurate 10 yard passes!
