Stuart Taylor from Man City is an interesting one. I worked with his brother in 2000, Taylor went to Euro 2000 as a non playr for work experience as he was tipped for bug things. He played a few times for Arsenal in place of David Seaman and won a Premier league winner medal in 2001, but after that he spent over ten years on the subs bench for Arsenal, Aston Villa and Man City.
Alnwick, Cook, Fuller, Riise, Andrews, Blake, Whitbread, Hoyte and Shittu are the kind of players we will end up signing. Fuller had a trial when younger, Cook and Shittu have been here before, Alnwick, Hoyte and Riise are already based at London clubs and Whitbread, Blake and Andrews are going to be championship players next season anyway.
Any player who has been with a premiership club will be on stupidly high wages. Unless we find a person who can regain motivation on a fraction of their former wage then we should stay away.

Totally disagree. I don't think Powell will be targeting injury prone/old pros who want one last contract, if his buying policy whilst with us is anything to go by.
22-27 year olds, mostly from the lower leagues is the way he'll go IMO.

Whitbread is the new Cory Gibbs. Injury prone doesn't cover it.
