  • A Johnson.
  • A Johnson.
    Any Johnson ?

  • Some of the players that stand out for me (and we might have half a chance at getting):

    Mohamed Diame (Wigan)
    Danny Guthrie (Newcastle)
    Gai Assulin (Man City)

  • Murphy Daniel Ben
  • Surely a lot of those are still negotiating a new contract, Paul Scharner?

Yes, for example Paul Scholes is listed there but has already agreed a 1-year extension.
  • Riise
  • Riise
Thats John Arne's younger uselesser brother. No thanks
  • I would be surprised if we could afford any of their wages , considering the crazy amounts being offered up in the prem nowadays.
  • Riise could be a great purchase has he definitely not already got a contract somewhere??

  • I'd take Murphy from Arsenal
    Ciara from Villa
    Bennett from Bolton
    Taylor from Chelsea

We could have Rhys, Reece, Rhys and Rhys playing alongside Rhoys next season
  • What about that Fulham ruski pobrogbdaich or whatever.

    I thought he looked promising
  • No chance on a lot of them, I'd take Whitbread and Wilbraham from Norwich.

    Not to mention Riise.
  • Scholes

  • If we dont sign Drogba, Owen and Scholes it shows a severe lack of ambition.
  • What about that Fulham ruski pobrogbdaich or whatever.

    I thought he looked promising
    we obvs can't get Pogrebnyak
  • Oh and Louis Saha.
  • No chance on a lot of them, I'd take Whitbread and Wilbraham from Norwich.
I don't want Wilbraham, he's only ever had 1 decent season
  • What about that Fulham ruski pobrogbdaich or whatever.

    I thought he looked promising
    we obvs can't get Pogrebnyak
He was on loan to Fulham who have offered him a new contract. He is class.

    that's what I meant, he's too good
  • Riise

Ahh, my fault. I did not really look and thought it was the older brother. Got a bit over excited that he might be available.
  • realistically i'd take Whitbread or Shittu as centre back number 4, Hahnemann maybe to give Hamer some competition and Mattock as back up for Wiggins
  • i'd take Rhys Murphy, Ricardo Gardner, Danny Guthrie, Peter Ramage,Tom Soares (had a successful loan spell at Hibs this season), Mo Diame - we would realistically bring in these kind of players.. would all fit in quite nice
  • forgot about Guthrie, he'd be a quality signing too
  • Most of those players will be signed by other PL clubs.

Youngish ex PL players would only be interested in.
  • Diame is likely to sign for Liverpool. Forget signing him.

My Fulham m8 reckons they are going to sign him
  • Most will either go to Prem clubs or will be big name, big salary flops who we should stay well clear of. Only Prem kids let go with a bit of hunger for me.
  • Stuart Taylor from Man City is an interesting one.
I worked with his brother in 2000, Taylor went to Euro 2000 as a non playr for work experience as he was tipped for bug things.
He played a few times for Arsenal in place of David Seaman and won a Premier league winner medal in 2001, but after that he spent over ten years on the subs bench for Arsenal, Aston Villa and Man City.
