Dalglish was summoned to Boston for a meeting with the club's owners, FSG, on Wednesday and was said to have been left in limbo after clarification over his future was not forthcoming........ Must admit that Dalglish after a decent start, seemed to be struggling. He also made a hash of the Suarez affair, and he can have a churlish manner with the media, appearing arrogant. But if compare him to Mourinho, no contest there. Have not got a clue who they will get in there, this was discussed on Talk sport yesterday, and they drew a blank as well......
Sad day for someone that loved Kenny the player and even the manager as was, but like a boxer he took one fight too many. He forgot that Liverpool were a middling football club and treated others with contempt and arrogance that the clubs position and results doid not warrant. The power base for the americans is building the brand in America and they don't like losers or surrly (sp?) uncooperative faces of the business. Sorry Kenny but you had to go.

Billo on Twitter: "Ironic Dalglish departs Liverpool on the same day Hodgson announces his first England squad. What a difference a year makes."

He had to go but there's not much job security in football management is there? Here's the longevity list from the 92 league clubs: Jobs vacant: 7 Under 3 months: 12 Over 3 mths: 10 Over 6 mths: 18 Over 1 yr: 21 Over 2 yrs: 12 Over 3 yrs: 4 Over 4 yrs: 1 Over 5 yrs: 4 Over 10 yrs: 1 Over 15 yrs: 1 Over 20 yrs: 0 Over 25 yrs: 1
SCP is currently 40th in the list having been employed for 1 year 120 days.
I see BBC Sport have now taken down the article by Mark Lawrenson about how he was sure that Dalglish would continue as manager of Liverpool FC! Protect the pundit and his ability to be right abut everything.
Liverpool are ready to be brave when appointing a replacement for Kenny Dalglish. An inside source at Anfield says the club are willing to make a very brave choice, saying that "Fans need to be patient and understand that the next manager will be here for the long-term and will have to look at the bigger picture". He also said the next manager WILL be a Englishman.
We believe that he is former Liverpool youth coach and current MK Dons manager Karl Robinson. The club have refused to comment at this moment.
No surprise really. Finished the season with the lowest amount of goals scored in a season since 1906......and then Andy Carroll gets picked for England! Result. And what happened to Dirk Kuyt? One of their best players getting splinters warming up the bench.

Jesus..................
Karl Robinson @ lol. He is well moany though, so he would fit the bill as Liverpool's manager.
There was a guy who was just on 5live (not sure who, sorry), who ended his call/interview by bemoaning the fact that Liverpool couldn't compete with the top 4, who all spent big money. Such an amazing thing to say when referencing Liverpool this season, particularly as they finished below Everton and Newcastle!

Unintelligible misery
Lineker on Twitter:
Do feel for Kenny Dalglish. Absolutely loves that club. Unreasonable expectations in such a short time. How long will the next fella get?
Dunno Gary, maybe a bit longer than Hodgson had as an example.
