Why are you going to an all Yorkshire play off final then Lincs?
a friend of mine works for Sheff Utd .. she called me last night and asked if I wanted one .. I said: 'yes please and I'll have a Wembley ticket as well sweetie' .. I'm Charlton but like a good game where nothing is at stake for my team .. and, I go to quite a few other games in the north and midlands, just looking around
I stopped believing anything in your post after "a friend of mine"... B-)
Huddersfield. I'm sick of the sight of them. Big time charlies who can't fill their ego. They'll come straight back down again but hopefully we'll pass them on the way.

grrrrrrrrr !!!! .. I have 2 friends, well I DID until the dog died last week
I'm not expecting a classic. There will be plenty of bookings and potential for a red. I've got evens on Utd otherwise I wouldn't bother to watch it. Hope you enjoy the day out Lincs. At least there should be a lively atmosphere.

Thanks Bryan .. it'll make a nice change to be driven down to London rather than having to drive or sit on the train .. It'll be my first time at the new Wembley. There is no real major rivalry between Utd and the Terriers, more of a friendly banter thing. I'm hoping for a nice weekend in the 'smoke' and a 'good clean game'
Gave up my season ticket and sat in the Jimmy seed for the hartlepool game as had a few mates along and notice in the toilets a sticker above the urinals reading "Lee Clark's Promotion Army 2011/12".
So merely based on this unabashed display of arrogance, presumption and disgusting act of vandalism I want the non-scarfer bashing side of Sheffield to win.
Would have wanted Udders at a push but the sacking of Lee Clark was mindless. I don't want Grayson taking the praise for what is effectively Clark's work. Confused!
Don't like or dislike either. Will watch the game but just cant separate them. It's very rare for me to watch a game as an absolute neutral - (I usually just have a strange need to be rooting for one or the other) - but this could well be one of those.
Wont do any of us any harm for Blades to spend another season or two in league 1, just do they don't forget, like...
Having said that they've been unlucky not to get in the automatics and the points difference between them and the the other 3 in the playoffs is, well, similar to that between us and second place, so I suppose it'll be a bit harsh if they don't get it. However, I think Hudds for me on the grounds that we can probably have some of Blades players if they stay down, and aside from Rhodes, whom we won't get, I don't know if we want any of Hudds'.

Sums it up for me. I think I am swaying to S United only because I enjoyed our trip there this season. Nice simple away day train station pub and ground all within a 10 min walk or so.
A difficult one to call but, despite their recent tepid form, I think that the Terriers will edge it owing to United's lack of firepower. No one would not want to be going into a play-off final without their three first choice strikers ( assuming Cresswell doesn't make it ).

I'm going to just revel in the misery of which one has to suffe another season in that god forsaken division.
