Hoping for a reversal of fortunes of the only other live match I've seen Charlton play (Highbury-2004), so its a 4-0 win for the Addicks; Sheff U to draw. Witness to the League 1 Champions being declared......
Would like to see SCP play his strongest team in order to counter any sense of inevitability that may possibly set in.
We deserve this championship, it's time for the lads to go out there and put it to bed.
I think it's a win-win situation. We could take the title at The Valley in front of a big home crowd, or have it follow on to the next week against Preston which may hopefully encourage a big away turnout (1,500).
I admit to being unduly pessimistic with my forecasts from superstition at times but now ONE AIM is achieved I do have a nagging feeling that Wycombe might want it more than us and we will have to come from behind (ooh ah Misses!) 1-1
There should always be pressure because that is what creates focus. Focus creates a determination to win. The idea that you can turn up and stroll to a win is so very disproven. I want to see another proof that we are the deserved champions tomorrow and he should play his best side until there is a 3 goal cushion and then let those who want to play in the championship next season let rip. We should be relentless.
The 100 points (if achieved) could be a record that may never be attained by a Charlton team again. This is our God-given opportunity - and the true measure of our achievement this season.

don't be so pessimistic, I reckon we can do it for the next two seasons too

Have you seen their fixtures? They are doomed and they know it.
We haven't conceded a goal since Bruce Forsyth was in nappies (first time around) and I don't see Ben Hamer and the back four wanting that to change. If the Doc was their first choice CB I expect us to get more than a couple. Might have a quid or two on the handicap win.
As for us, if you were one of our first team regulars who sweated blood to get key results like at Oldham, how would you feel about missing this game for a rest? CP will pay the best team he can I'm sure. I am sure the same will go for Hartlepool too. Why p*ss some one off who you want next season?
4-0. Cort and Solly along with JJ pen and BWP one on one with keeper to finish them off. MK Dons and The Blades come up with a corking 4-4 goal bonanza to get us up as champs. COYR!
Can we seal the Championship tomorrow?......I think we can MK Dons and Utd draw 1-1, we beat Wycombe 2-0, 20k in the Valley.....having a great day out at the penultimate home game in League 1.

I think the MK Dons match is the most likely for United to drop points. Wycombe will be tough but the players will have a lot of pressure lifted and have a good go at them I suspect -3-0.

3-0 to the addicks...BWP, Jackson and Stephens.

Hollands was one player who looked tired, but he's had his 3 match 'rest' and will be raring to go for Preston.
Russell is available again tomorrow, but I doubt he will figure, unless SCP think he will be part of the team next season.
1) Promotion - ACHIEVED
2) Title
3) 100 points.

Nah. I hope we play with a bit of freedom though. If we do, then it could be a drubbing. If we don't it'll be a narrow victory.
4-0 or 2-1
Hey steady Salad - you'll ruin my reputation.
;o)
