Great pic Dazzler - I've only heard about this but that's funny. If I may say, waggy looks very camp here. Nothing wrong with it - just a statement :-)
Waggy and Green are often compared on this board with the number of assists and goals that each have. Waggy having scored a few more goals, but Green having a few more assists.
What nobody ever seems to mention is the number of top class balls into the area that are not taken by our strikers. For instance when BWP had his lean spell how many balls did Green put into the area that should have been put away? Either the target was missed or their goalkeeper brought off a good save.
I believe that over the course of the season Green has put a lot more of those balls into the box than Waggy, it is not his fault if the strikers don't put them away. For that reason, as the squad stands at the moment, Iwould prefer Green over Waggy, and Waggy to come on as an impact sub - not necessarily to replace Green.

Actually disagree. I think that Waggy puts in the type of cross that BWP likes - early and more to feet. Green being a more conventional winger needs a more conventional CF.
Overall I think Waggy just adds more to the team as a whole. Both are young and will develop - Waggy seems to have put on a bit of muscle for instance.
My other disagreement is the bit about the impact sub. Waggys running makes me feel tired just watching him! Marking him must be a nightmare as he moves all over the place.
This I think will give Green a bit more space and time at the end of the match, which if we are chasing the game is when we want more traditional crosses going in.
Nice problem to have though. I do not know of any debate to go on so long. Must show how close they are performance wise and I would not write off either for next season.
Green is a footballer , pass & move , some of his forward passes this season have been very good shame the forwards are not on the same wave band . He keeps his shape where waggy seems to pop up everywhere and looks busy , against better teams they will have waggy running ragged. Having said that waggy has had a good season and has played a good part in their success. I feel there is time for both to be regular first teamers.
They have both contributed in our season and scored important goals. Waggy just edges it for me though. I can imagine that Waggy pushed that little bit harder to get back in the team when Green was getting the nod before him.
