Spotted him on Euston Tube station last night. Must have been on the 1835 from Manchester.
Garth Crooks & Mark Bright were also on the train. Gave it the "Chrissy Powell" clenched fist as we passed through their carriage, (which could be embarrassing for a 50 year old), but Bright replied in kind with a "yessssssss". Alright for a Nigel.
Also, was surrounded by Scandanavian Fulham fans on the train, over for the weekend. Surreal experience. It looked like a A-HA lookalike contest. They made more racket than the whole of their support did at the FA cup game.
Jim Davidson debate has been done. Too many times. Whether you like him or not is irrelevant. I only posted it because it's relevant as a Charlton related interview that I thought people might find interesting. Why can't people leave it as that?

Well said. Whatever way your mop flops for Jim Davidson it was still a cracking quote.

Quality comment about Yann. Used to see him in one of the boxes in the East Stand. Not sure if he has that now but have also seen him at away games slumming it with the rest of us. A proper fan of the club and good to see him get the chance to talk about his support.
I absolutely love the bloke - my favourite comedian by a country mile.
Saying he is only interested when we are winning is a load of rubbish. Practically every gig he does up and down the country he will mention his Charlton roots.
Like it or not, he is one of us and has probably been our most prolific 'celebrity' supporter over the years. And yes that is including Michael Grade.

That from a man who has travelled the world many times over no doubt. Says it all.

Thanks for the original post, I For one appreciated it!
If you scroll through, He blogs his views on some of our games. Some of them are better than the newshopper reports!
And I love you too J Block.
I think a bit of groinal curiosity about Julie Andrews in here formative years is fairly normal though.
