Mike, you read it back sunshine. You said "theres the opinion of those who go to away games and then those who don't...he dosen't." (sic)
When I point out that I went to the away game before yesterday's - thus blowing your comment out of the water - you try to change your tune, again. And you somehow think you "know" me now too. Have we met?
Come back and have another go when you've had a bit more practice, son.
I love the way some people say "I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist". Really cracks me up that little sentence, every time.
You really don't know me, do you, Off_it . And SO pleased I've brought a little light relief today !
Maybe you should buy a dictionary and look up those two little words. You appear to have no idea of their meaning....
As for you, Rothko, sweetie, I'm crossing you off my Xmas list.
Nope, as far as I am aware I've never met you - but you never know.
And I know very well what the two words mean thanks sweetie. It's just that pessimists always think of themselves as being realists.
Not saying that in your case necessarily, but that's what happens.
You really know it ALL, don't you, Off_it ! Sincerely hope I meet someone with your high level of intelligence before too long ! I surely have been missing out in all my 63 years ...
And I wouldn't dream of calling you "sweetie" ....re-read the posts .
For what it's worth, we never played as well as we can at Bournemouth in what was a pretty tight (and even) match. Can't see where I've ever said any different. But that's football isn't it. Sometimes you win games you should lose, sometimes you win games you should draw, sometimes you lose games you should win - and so on.
If we "should" have lost the Bournemouth game if they were the better team then surely by the same rationale we should've won the Colchester game as we were the better team? Yes?
Pretty obvious someone who has been to the majority of away games and the home games will have more of an idea of how we have been playing than someone who hasn't..
But yes if it means you can stop boring me, you have won.

Nothing wrong with my eyesight - or my nerve.
WOW ! We agree on something !! You are correct, of course - we didn't play as well as we can at Bournemouth and we used up our luck on the day which came back to bite us on the bum v Colchester as you stated in an albeit slightly different way.
But who's to say that will always even itself out ? Can you honestly, with hand on heart , state that we are playing well/to our strengths at the minute ? If not, then is there not a degree of doubt in your mind that the 2 recent losses might not be a "blip" in our progression onwards & upwards ?
You should understand that these questions I'm posing and the doubts beginning to creep in are totally out of character for me and I hate to admit to them but , no-one has the divine right to be Champions/gain promotion. No team is " too good " to stay in this league . And no-one can guarantee that we will be playing the likes of Palace next season.
If that's not realism then I'll eat my pension book !
Off it, sounds like you're getting nervous, Charlton are bottling it big time, no suprise really because your 'blip' had to come and now it has, Wednesday have just got their act together, Yeovil will take the last play-off spot and you might possibly play them again this season.

Ha ha , munkee boy is back for some more!
Come up with a decent bet you'd like to offer yet?

I think I've just seen your squadron fly past my window operationpig are you something to do with air space security for the Olympics?

I'm sure there are twats who support Charlton who go onto other fans forums and talk bollocks but that doesn't excuse you.

We get them yeah, but you have to take it on the chin like a man.
Because they copy everything we do and say, we were called the blades first and so they nicked that, they wanted to play in bacon stripes so we let them, United were only created because Wednesday were bored and wanted another team in the city for competition, now we have five teams in the city!
This thread has turned slightly petty if I'm honest. Let's get back to what the thread is about....
Anyway...
Galvanising the team with a good atmosphere and people in the stadium does a lot for the team and I hope people who are 50/50 about going can make it and there is a bit of noise made within the ground.
We're so close from what we have wanted for so long.

Yes, I agree. You're going to be Champions because you're massive. We're going to slip to third place because we're very small.
Some Sheffield Wednesday fans are simply jealous, otherwise there would be no need to be wasting time on here with something which in reality is irrelevant.

No we're definitely not jealous of Charlton mate, however we envy your position at the top but the question was will you do it?

Now I have to prove I've done more than 5 (which I have) do I?
Admit it. You've lost that one.

While you're on OpPig ....... why do your mates from Bramall Lane call you pigs, yet you Wendies call them Pigs too?
Unless you've both got 70 points and can't tell each other apart, perhaps?
