I have to say that I agree with you 100% Mortain. Wigan are just starting to pick up some points now and have a relatively easy run-in. The rest are already too far ahead.
  • [cite]Posted By: Salad Spinner[/cite]You can look at all the fixtures coming up and classify which ones are must-wins etc. etc. etc.

But imho you can forget all that if we don't win on Saturday ........ if we cannot win this match there is not a cat's chance in hell of staying up.

Totally agree. Both the fans and the players seem so up for this game. If we don't win it's going to hit us hard and we'll probably go down

You definitely will be if we beat you. You'll then need to win at least 6 of your last 10 and 3 of those are against the top 4. Whereas we'll be looking at 5 wins from 10 with games against watford, wigan, sheff utd and man city coming up.
  • 7 points(with our chaff goal dif) IMHO is gonna be too much for us to make up cos the games are running out.
We'll have a small chance IF we beat west ham but with wigan at home to newcastle the gap could still be the same with one less game to play...... some people are on the pitch , they think it's all over...........
  • Yes but if we go on a run our goal difference will improve. However there's no point beating west ham and watford if we don't beat wigan as we'll need to beat them and improve the goal difference
