"As you know, Charlton now look certain for promotion, do you have any regrets in leaving?"
'No, none at all. It was the best thing to do in my life. Sheffield Wednesday are bigger, have the better atmosphere, big fans (tango maybe? ), best fans'
Also says he's desperate to get another goal before the end of the season.
Who ever that Charlton fan is writing on there forum should be ashamed. Why bother wasting time writing on there and making yourself look a tool.
Semodo I'm my eyes clearly has changed his tune from last season when he "never wanted to leave"... Hollands and Stephens are far better players for the attractive game we play..

For the record, I'm not the one posting over on Owls Talk.
I've lost all respect for Semedo. Never rated him, was the best of a bad bunch.
Oh Oh I sense another bit of blubbing coming on followed by a " I love this club & want to stay here for the rest of my life" blah blah blah obviously having his request turned down for ridiculous wages that you would pay a player far above his ability (players like Danny Hollands, Johnny Jackson Dale Stephens etc ) has resulted in semedo acting like a woman scorned lol.
Of course he loves it at the wendies, after all he can play 1st team football there whereas he wouldn't be anywhere near our first team.
Player in 'gush about his own club/fans in interview' shocker!
I'm sure he'll say the same thing about the fans at his next club and they'll probably fall for it like we did. We're both apparently better off without each other so let's move on.......

e.g. "I had several happy years at Charlton and it was an honour to be voted Player of the Year. But when Wednesday came in for me I was really excited to join a club with such a tradition and passionate support. And there's still a quarter of a season to go. I'm looking forward to playing Charlton in the Championship"
He is a passionate guy, he's always going to get attached to anybody who gives him a bit of praise. Don't miss him in the slightest and i think we are far better off with out him, so comments he makes now are irrelevant.
A journeyman watercarrier. Notts County had had 3 better midfielders than him on Saturday alone. I don't deny he did a reasonable job for us, but I can guarantee if he were an opposition player unconnected to Charlton, I would never pick him out in a match.
Semedo is good at what he does but unless you have several very talented creative players he will hold teams back (like he did with us)
Fair pay to him, it's not like he can say 'I wish I had never left, Charlton are pissing the league, however I still get paid a lot of money for playing in the lower echelons of English football'
He means sod all to me and I couldn't care less what he thinks or says about us (now I sound like a woman scorned)!!
Sorry but I don't give a sh!t what Semedo thinks. We're top and going up. Who cares!? Pat him on the head and tell him, and the Wednesday fans, to enjoy the play offs.
Shame to see those comments as I always thought he would still carry a good reputation amongst the Charlton supporters based on his undoubted passion and commitment.
Not the best player, but certainly the one who gave a damn more than anyone else last season.
From the last two seasons (not including this one), I think Charlton fans only had a really strong perspective for Semedo and Nicky Bailey, nobody else.
I wish him luck still, as he hasn't actually slagged our fans off in any way. Just answered a reporters question in bit of a strange way I think.
He's at a bigger team, good luck to him. Never wanted to see him in a Charlton shirt, never embarrassed about him playing for us: that's a big positive compared to the copious shite we've had in recent years. Still I can't believe how someone so average ever earns that much. But again good luck to him.
Its amazing how your opinion of a club can change so quickly, I used to like Wednesday... now I think they are a bunch of deluded w#nkers... Hope they stay down for the next hundred years...
This sort of thing doesn't really bother me at all, the one who cracks me up is Llera insisting the club got it wrong last summer. If he'd said " last years squad could have got Charlton out of this division" then he'd have a point, unfortunately it would have been in a downwards direction.
It's easy to see Jose up to his old tricks here. After all it's that time of the season when fans vote for their player of the season. He did it last season with us. Remember? "I want to stay at Charlton for the rest of my career". That statement was quickly followed by him being voted fans PotY. (Personally I think there were more worthy candidates).
He's an opportunist that seeks fans adulation, and awards, to match his ego. Don't miss egos like that.

Absolute love the guy.
Almost forgot.. He's magic, you know
The weird thing is i'd never even really thought about them in July.

As for Semedo, what a w*anker.
that charltons support is better ?
he's got to big up where he is now , they all do

Easy. I'll send him my fee note.
I don't deny he did a reasonable job for us, but I can guarantee if he were an opposition player unconnected to Charlton, I would never pick him out in a match.
What he actually meant is "I went to Sheffield Weds because they matched the ridiculous wage that Mr Pardew decided I was worth"
He is far from a legend, he was a central figure in the worst Charlton side for many years. He won player of the year becaise he had the loudest song.

he was always going to say it, let him run up and down hillsborough while the ball floats over his head in league one. not bothered.

Summed up by a typical wendy response.....................
Wtf did you expect him to say
