  • Hamer 3 At fault for at least two goals
    Solly 5
Morrison 4 worst deenfensive display this season
    Taylor 4 ditto
    Wiggins 4 ditto
Wagstaff 5 The midfield seemed so slow compared to Notts county waggstaff only one that could keep up with them.
    Hollands 5
Stephens 4 Seems scared of the tackle.
    Jackson 5
    Kermorgant 6
    Wright Phillips 5
Over all a shambles of a performance, has Charltons end of season colapse started, as in 1999-2000.
  • Of course the marks for the second half would be reasonably high so quite a hard one.

Hamer 4 Needs to cut out the errors we have seen in the last coupel of games.
Solly 6 Battled away but not his best.
    Morrison 5 Wasn't terrible - they scored 4 from 4 chances though
    Taylor 5 ditto
Wiggins 4 offensively he is such a weapon for us a JJ isn't a rampaging winger but he has been showing less of that side of his game recently
Wagstaff 6 Improved I though as the game went on
    Hollands 5 battled gamely
Stephens 4 Maybe we need a bit of Hughes qualities in there or Pritchard if Hughes is injured.
    Jackson 5 Not greatly involved
    Kermorgant 7 Showed some quality
Wright Phillips 7 I though he had a decent game M

  • Hamer 3 - Lacking in confidence and making basic errors. Fully to blame for 3rd goal.
Solly 6 - Only member of defence to come out with any sort of credit
Morrison 5 - At least he tried!
Taylor 4 - Very poor game. As well as his involvement in 3rd goal, his lack of concentration was also instrumental in 2nd and 4th.
Wiggins 5 - Not what you expect from him. Followed on from his poor performance against Colchester.
Wagstaff 7 - Much improved. No continual whinging or falling over!
Hollands 6 - Much improved in 2nd half
Stephens 4 - Another poor game, as against Colchester. Guilty of lack of concentration in lead up to 1st goal.
Jackson 6 - Tried but not at his best
Kermorgant 6 - Tried, but not at his best
Wright Phillips 7 - He at least played for the whole 90 mins, unlike some of his colleagues!

    Hamer 5
    Solly 5
    Morrison 5
Taylor 5 rare mistakes from him, lack of pace showed up more than usual as well
Wiggins 5 teams are stopping him getting the space when he overlaps
Wagstaff 7 scored and created a goal, barely played for last few months. Made mistakes but Green has been given 7s and 8s making just as many errors without setting up or scoring. He had a positive impact so 7 is fair.
Hollands 5 best central midfielders but still doesn't look like the best partnership.
Stephens 5 see above. Not been convinced by him since coming back, might be a very good player in time but not a "class act" yet.
Jackson 4.5 seemed to struggle through the game
    Kermorgant 6
Wright Phillips 7 did his job, score
  • Hamer 4 It's been coming for a while.Actually did OK on high balls
Solly 4 Worst game for the club, constantly caught out
Morrison 6.5 Solid in a one man back line
Taylor 4 Well outclassed in the first half
Wiggins 5 Not entirely his fault, completely abandoned.
Wagstaff 7.5 Nice to see a cross coming in from the right.
    Hollands 5 Needs a rest.
Stephens 6 Much better in the second half when he pushed up
Jackson 4 Awful. Labouring under the misconception that we don't need a left midfielder, just played up front and abandoned Wiggins to his fate.
Kermorgant 6 Won it all as usual. Had to keep going out wide to cover for his delinquent captain, which took him out of the area wher he's most dangerous.
Wright Phillips 7 Worked his socks ooff and got a good goal for his trouble
  • Hamer 4 Blame lack of confidence, blame injuty, blame poor communication. Either way he was poor.
Solly 5 Looked completely out of sorts
Morrison 6 None of the back five had a good day, but he had the better one
Taylor 4.5 Never got to grips and should have communicated more
Wiggins 6 Always had two men on him so did the best he could
Wagstaff 8 MOM tried from the second he got on the pitch made one, scored one. If it had been Green people would be giving he performance an 11.
Hollands 6.5 Tired and got pulled backwards too much
Stephens 7 Better 2nd half when he was able to move forward
Jackson 5 Wanted to be a central midfielder barely saw the wing
Kermorgant 7 Did what he could with no service
Wright Phillips 7.5 Realised he was getting no service so got backwards and did a job in defence as well
  • Hamer 5 Really think he needs replacing ,but I'm not convinced by Sullivan either ,dare I say it but an experienced loanee perhaps to get us over the line
Solly 5 Worst game for a while
Morrison 5 Not his best game
Taylor 5 The third goal was down to him Morro and Hamer
Wiggins 5 Not the potent threat that he was earlier in the season
Wagstaff 8 Freshened things up deserves a run in the team ,extra point for goal and assist
Hollands 5 Looked better with Hughes or Russell
    Stephens 5 I think he does not suit a 4 4 2 when we play against teams who go 4 5 1
Jackson 6 Still think he is injured
Kermorgant 6 Does his job defensively which keeps him on a par score
Wright Phillips 8 Good goal and assist which earn the extra mark
  • Hamer 5

  • Hamer - 5, At fault for two of the goals, the first and third.
Solly - 4, All over the place, not in a good way. Exposed the centre halves.
Morrison - 6, Best of a poor back four performance.
Taylor - 5, Should have took charge for the third goal and headed out for a corner.
Wiggins - 4, His worst performance of the season, does not take anyone on anymore. One awful pass across the goalmouth.
Wagstaff - 5, extra point for an assist and extra point for goal, other than that, terrible, falling over and not tackling.
Hollands - 6, tackled and tried to pass.
    Stephens - 4, Poor.
Jackson - 5, Not as influential as usual.
Kermorgant - 6, won headers and put himself about.
Wright Phillips - 6.5 (MOM), Goal and assist and worked hard. Should have had a pen when blatantly brought down that could have been 3-4. Also would have been a straight red card.

Ref - the worst I have seen this season, decisions made on a coin toss or who shouted the loudest. Useless. BWP's goal was a foul on the goalie, but the worst of all was to wave away the blatant foul on BWP and a red card for the Notts C defender that would have seen CAFC back in the game and would probably have gone on to win it.

  • I love this thread every week

Its basically an excuse to mark down the players you don't like

Not quite sure how Hamer who was at fault for 2 goals and out of position all day can get the same score as someone who scored a goal and set the other up but there you go...

i don't like waggy and don't mind hamer (mainly cos he got rid of fattie ;-) but i mark it as i see it

and these marks give you an insight into how completely wibble some football fans are

  • Agreed ooh ahh

Your opinion I respect more than most on here which makes your support of Hamer even more surprising

He's just a thin Robbie Elliott

Robbie would have saved that first goal yesterday, probably pushed it out to the striker to tuck away but still would have saved it :)
