Just glad that this has happened to him before his career started. I'd imagine the stigma would stick a lot firmer if it was a first teamer. Hopefully he can now move on and have a successful career. Can't understand why we can't comment on the wrong-doings of the press afka? Surely that's the main reason this has all blown up by naming him?
Giving an opinion on something relevant on a forum..........who would have thought it.
sounds like a strange teenage girl who fancied the pants off jordan (who would say no to that face) and got weirdly stalkerishly jealous and called "da feds"
Case against him has been dropped, with no charges to answer.
Let's hope it hasn't adversely affected the lad too much and he can get on with his football.
Be grateful if we could leave the debate on whether the press should be allowed to name accused people before any charges are brought against them for another day please.
Until we move back to seven subs I can't see any of the current youth set up getting on to the bench. Ignoring the accusations completely, it would be good for this lad to get a taste of the first team. If he is as good as we have been led to believe he should be able to get a little playing time in the third division.
Hopefully we will be able give the youngsters a bit of a run out if/when we have a bit of breathing space at the top.
Edit: - Sorry AFKA I was typing this when you asked for no one to change the subject.

I don't think we should make any judgements on the ins and outs of this. We have no idea what happened, I don't think posting stuff about a 12 year old girl on a public forum (or anywhere else) is right.
As the case has been dropped and no charges made I will assume there has been no wrong doing and am happy to wish Jordan good luck, and cheer him on as a member of the club I love.
Out of respect for Barts wishes we've refrained from posting stuff re the story itself. I have to say I don't fully understand why that is...but he's asked for that, so I guess let's leave it for now. We can possibly touch upon it at a later date as who knows, there may be further things that come out of this sorry saga.
Why not name the girl who alledged the crime against Jordan? He has had his name dragged through the mud for no reason in the end.
Perhaps because she is a child who, for all I know, has done nothing wrong.
As in Jordan has done nothing wrong and his name has been put into the spotlight? Don't get me wrong, I think Cousins just Like "the Charlton 9" should have been innocent until proven guilty, However I see that Cousins was allowed to play and get paid by CAFC whilst on this accusation whilst the "9" are not allowed to watch CAFC until they are not not charged.
Because the player in question has been named and shamed but he shouldn't have been. the 12 year old was not giving the true account and has made someone else out to be a "wrongun"

SHE'S TWELVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At 12 you should still know the difference between right and wrong tho!
When arrested he was nor even 18 years old. I do not know Cousins or family but people making false allegations are wrong and have an impact after the person accused has the case dropped.

Reinforces my belief that no identity should be revealed in such cases until charges have been laid. Possibly even until conviction.

Embarrassed I hope.
Good luck Jordan.
I didn't say don't have the debate, I just didn't want this thread becoming something other than what it was intended for.
