What game will we seal promotion at?

edited March 2012 in General Charlton
What does everybody reckon? Gonna go to one more away game this season, probably do a stopover and make a proper day and night out of it so be great to celebrate promotion at the same time. Looks like they are all long treks but the north west is our traditional promotion territory so which game do we think?

  • We did it at Sheffield Wednesday away.
  • Heart wants it to be the Walsall at the Valley but head says its the Carlisle away game, the furthest away ground in the league...
  • Carlisle certainly has history on its side.
  • We could make it Orient at this rate, amazing stuff
  • Same as in 2000 we will not be playing a match when we get promoted.By2-15pm when the Oldham game kicks off at 3pm we will be up..........

Would be nice to go to Hudders knowing a win would seal it. Title wrapped up at Carlisle to appease history.
  • Was planning a trip to Huddersfield and have a few friends there, it would be great to go up there but I think Huddersfield, Weds and MK would all have to hit really, really bad form.
  • I reckon Hudds too, think we might have to go to this

  • On the basis that we are effectively six wins clear of third place, all we need to do is match the form of the chasing pack - who seem intent on throwing points away - at Leyton Orient is completely do-able.

Promotion by the end of March would be absolutely amazing. We might even get a mention in the Standard.
  • Carlise will see us crowned imo , we could go up at home to the orient

You been on the juice Off It? We'd probably have to go unbeaten all season (or play one of the big Prem teams in the cup) to get a mention in the Standard.
  • As 8 of our remaining games are at home I would suggest the odds slightly favour it being one of them.

If the current gaps were to remain - which I guess is unlikely - we would need a point against Walsall to clinch it. If Huddersfield were to fail to win their game in hand a win against Oldham would
