Hamer - 7 still improving Solly - 7 worked hard but has to take some of the blame for the space created for them with Soly and Green not connecting properly Morrison - 8 Taylor - 8 Wiggins - 8 Green - 6 getting worse each week and no linking with Solly gave them a lot of space Hollands - 7.5 Stephens - 7.5 Jackson - 7.5 also got pulled into the middle a lot giving them space n the wing BWP - 7 Kermorgant - 8
Bournemouth staff - 10 - every person I spoke to was welcoming and polite and an example to footballing staff everywhere
Quite game overall, but not poor. Could have subbed earlier.
I gotta ask - 7 for Solly and the comments - where you there?
I have to say I would agree with Greenie. Don't get me wrong, I thought Solly had a decent game, but I felt that he recovered well from bad positional play at times. He also gave the ball away badly on 2 or 3 occasions, but we got away with it. He certainly gives his all, has progressed well this season and looks to be one for the future, but I saw his performance at Bournemouth very competent rather than outstanding.
There were a lot of times when their 22 went unopposed all the way up the pitch. I did hesistate on giving Solly 7 but mainly because other people have come to the blind view that he is always perfect. I would rather give him a 7 when I feel like he hasn't done as well as he can as this gives more credence when he earns a 9 from me.
I don't think Green and Solly work well together and I don't know that its fair to simply blame that on Green.
I think Thai has summed it up perfectly for me. Solly is usually brilliant and Saturday I thought he was just good.
