Grand Crus and Sizing Europe are both big favourites, but as seen today festival bankers often let people down. However I'll still be on them both I think, although Bobs worth will provide stiff competition for Grand Crus. Megastar at 50/1 is value for each way i think in the 4.00, but very wide open race so anything could happen really.
Will post my (probably useless) selections when I've had a proper look.
Grands Crus is a machine and is the only horse tomorrow that is a cut above the rest of the field in my opinion. If you are looking for a "banker" tomorrow and you want to keep it above evens, then get on Grands Crus, absolutely no concern about the course or making the trip and that is the number 1 priority at Cheltenham.
Really sorry to hear about the horses killed, puts it in perspective. Not a great day for me financially although I did have a bit on alfie sherrin so not too bad. Still 3 more days to get it back (or lose some more!) Still can't beat the festival however.
Good day thanks to balthazer king and dickie johnson in the x-country. The silence at the course after fly was beat was sumin else! Irish all done over.
Al ferof buggered me up by slamming that fence 4 out, had him without ss at 5/4.
Who you backing tomorrow JT? Ive got some big ante post bets on Grand Crus and Sizing Europe, but getting a little worried by Bobs worth and Finnians rainbow respectively.
Just got home via The Beehive and Star of India, natch.
Had a great day as ever. One winnner, Ruby in Champion Hurdle saved my day. Saw loads of celebs, Michael Vaughn and his agent Chubby Chandler. Bumble and Neil Fairbrother and to make 4 former England Test players saw and spoke to my former BCC team mate Min. Also saw Paul Merson, he was enjoying himself. Cheltenham, there's nothing like it.
A couple I twitched over in the early races so expect Soll Sous les Cieux and Cotton Mill to all trouble the bookies! A lot is absolutely wide open today.
