  • I have to admit that I can't be arsed with this one, having got half way to Sheff W & then Chesterfield aborted as well.
I'm giving myself a well deseved break. 1st game I won't be going to since Boxing Day.

PS Weather forecast is rain & possible snow :-(
Ahem. I am sat here in the living room. I can see Liverpool outside the window. It is quite mild with a little bit of rain. My god people have become paranoid.
Pork Pie: i spend alot of my time on The Wirral as I own the new cinema in New Brighton, The Light. won't be up for this game though I'm afraid. Saw Tranmere at home vs Carlisle earlier in the season and wasn't impressed with them. Enoch Showumni came to our premiere opening in December; good guy. Think we will win tomorrow.

You are kidding about being in the Wirral? In the spring/summer I do a bike ride from Leasowe lighthouse on that coastal path via Wallasey to New Brighton and that place has has a bit of a revamp over the past few years even if it includes a Morrisons and a Travelodge. Deserves to do well and good luck with you.

  • On our way. God it's early.

Make sure you take your brolley. Windy and raining outside in CH42. Summer has returned
  • far north wet, should be tropical in far south Wirral. Finishing up morning soakage, extra cumberlands and then away to scouseville. Watch out for lost Tesco bags flying about Lime Street. And as he was saying................................

lol someone has started early. Liverpool should be friendly today as Everton v Blackpool is the other fixture. VIctimville FC play tomorrow.
  • Think shall start in Dr Duncans. Was in there with kids during week escaping from the dinosaur crush in museum. Decent beer.
  • Never been to Dr Duncans though I recall its slap bang in the middle of town next to Lime Street. I normally stick to the pubs near Liverpool Central station which is a convenient place to start your trip to Tranmere where you get off at Rockferry. Enjoy the session and I will check out this recommendation of pub another time.
  • Have a good day Pork pie, up the reds.

I'm pleased to say the cinema is doing really well. Seems to be a lot of love on Merseyside for New Brighton. Had a leauge football team at one time you know. Famously went bust.

Tranmere fan, just passing through to say how much I enjoyed the game. Thought we did more than enough to compete and edged the first half (squandered chances - our season in a nutshell), but after the first five minutes of the second half it seemed to me more a question of not if you'd score, but when you'd score. We had our chances, but there was a feeling of 'hanging on' up till the final whistle. Quite happy with a point, after that....

A quick mention to Kafka - I'm in Wallasey and The Light is simply stunning. Have been a dozen times since it opened and enjoyed each visit. Bite to eat at Brooklyn's, cheeky beer at the flicks and the best cinema seats I've ever experienced. Hope it continues to be a roaring success - (sardines last week!!!)
