I respect people who don't want to clap him. But because he now wants to send us down and keep West Ham up is understandable. I really don't have a problem with that. I don't think we should be sentimental about it but clapping him gives us the edge. It shows him what he's missing and that will make him more miserable as a large chunk of Hamsters fans already want him to have the last cigarette and the blindfold. Polite and respectful to him. Large and Raucous to Pards. That will maximise the effect.

The club is bigger than any person past or present, he and his crew are the opposition. End of, CAFC all the way, he had a send off at The Valley and OT and if the circumstances were different he would be welcome back. BUT we need the points as much as WHU.
BDL as has been expressed keep it as simple as it always is for any visiting team, we welcome the players, management, supporters and directors of WHU, no names no pack drill. Respect given... game on no special announcements or platitudes.
