Also in the Southend team that day..Gary Poole, Chris Powell (and Simon Royce on the bench). Is that a record?
Was at penalties game and the Brown in goal game. Remember Ronnie Whelan (then Southend manager) trying to get the game re-started while Steve Brown was still changing into the keepers kit on the sideline.
AS RS said Leaburn's goal when he took about 10 seconds jinking this way and that was great. I think Chris Powell was one of the players he beat on the line.
