That first game in Byske was a surreal experience. Thousands of Swedes gathering in a field to watch football complete with picnics and camping chairs. A kind of cross between football and Maidstone cricket week. And then Svennis' right-hand man Tord Grip being interviewed on the pitch.
The second game in Oulo was a lovely relaxed Saturday and the 3rd in Boden was again a truly unique experience - without doubt the only time I have ever experienced a battle-tank at a football match.
And in the middle a short trip north of the arctic circle.
On the flight back from Luleå to Stockholm I was sat next to Sasa Ilic and I remember thinking, as he inserted an enormous pice of hand-luggage into the bin - "OMG I hope he doesn't drop it on me"

I still have a hangover from that evening. Went to a nightclub with Ashtray. Having come out of a bar in broad 'daylight' at 1am we asked some women where to go they said there three clubs...one for the beautiful people, one for average people but we would be better off in the third club. Thanks girls.
