Lack of interest / excitement compared to last week ?

  • I think last week it was a bit backs to the wall small numbers were going , they was expecting the biggest gate of the season but we knew if we won it would put real daylight between us.

  • Really looking forward to this game. If we can get a win here then it puts as in a great postion, a point woudl not be to bad either.

I looked at the remaining fixtures for all of the top 7 clubs and i think after hudders on 24th March we dont play any of the top current top 6.
  • I expected to lose last week so the 3 points we gained takes away a bit of the importance of this game, in the same sense that losing to Orient made the Wednesday game more important.

I think the atmosphere will be great and the fans will be right up for it. The reason for the lack of posts (5 Wednesday threads last week?) is probably due to the lack of Blades posting on here, and the ones that do have more class than the Owls.
  • I was absolutely convinced that we would beat the wendys, I'm not so sure about this one.
  • Big William totally agree re citeh, 15 points clear of the mugs & we almost threw that away but even after we had won the title they were saying that we weren't the best team. Prior to the new season I was reading their fanzine in Sportspages where they were claiming that they were the real champions !!!!!!! lol (is blue sheffield twinned with blue manchester?) So to thrash them so convincingly in the first game was absolutely fantastic. ;-)
  • Sheffield Untied are not massive.
    Thats the difference
  • I think VM summed it up , after last Saturdays shinanegans I still feel a bit drained , to take the words of the weds massive and stick it right up the proverbial was just as good as the result itself,

United are the closest team to us playing style wise in the league , seem to be able to get in at half time either drawing or only 1 goal down when they are not playing to well and come back strong to get the required result,

For me this is the toughest test of the season so far and we could neutralize eachother and 1 goal decide it,

I am ashamed to say it but last week the massive actually had me thinking that they are a brilliant outfit at home , so I was expecting to lose, so winning and winning in such a disciplined and magnificent manor made it sweeter
