Getting to the QF of the youth cup is an excellent advert for young players to come to Charlton.
Fanatastic result. And to avoid potential interest from other Clubs may I suggest our players be known from now on as:
A Youth Team Player B Youth Team Player C Youth Team Player D Youth Team Player E Youth Team Player F Youth Team Player G Youth Team Player H Youth Team Player I Youth Team Player J Youth Team Player and K Youth Team Player

Very even game as it goes, enlivened by very good-humoured Spurs support: they only had one sweary chant which they restrained. We had a 15/16-year-old called Tariq Holmes playing, our number 8, who was very good especially given his age. Tenacious tackler; incredibly energetic and unselfish (but only a short-arse so that's him finished!). We certainly matched Tottenham: it wasn't a question of hanging on and sneaking a winner; despite them hitting the crossbar earlier, we had two very close scrambles and Poyet had Green-esque corner that could easily have gone in. Muldoon came on at half time and was very assured, as were the majority of the side. Spurs had had two free kicks from similar positions to our "winning" free kick, and despite their number 7 setting himself up like a cross between David Beckham, Jonny Wilkinson and Cristiano Ronaldo, he put both of them over. Muldoon curled it Jacko-esque into the to corner on the other hand. At the final whistle, our players were absolutely thrilled, and squad members appeared from all corners to join in the celebrations. This tells me that during the game, the players were really focused and internally saying "be still my beating heart", and then they let rip when they won. Well worth going.

There has to be a decent chance that an online feed will be available. *fingers crossed*
