Been reading stuff like the first report for years. When we played Ipswich in the 5th round all those years ago, one of the reports mentioned "penned in hordes from the Surrey docks vomiting abuse". The Surrey docks?!? Millwall stronghold if ever there was.
  • And it's def better than top of the league because its mentioning Charlton .
The "top of the league" version is better on three counts. It scans better, is better grammatically and doesn't have an ambiguous line in it. "who gives a f**k with charlton athletic", could be construed as decidedly anti-Charlton. ;-)
  • where charlton athletic?

"Were going up"! Shit, what happened to derail that little dream then?
  • It started off 'Charlton Athletic' and ended up being 'top of the league' where I was. So both is correct!

not to bad. shame the reporter didn't say the penalty was not one and it would of been nice to mention our fans but overall best one ive read from the so called high brow papers. better than the guradian. and the above report from the telegraph.
  • Ruiz fell over to ge the penalty not Frei! Was this twonk even there or did he just write what he saw on the ITV higlights?!
  • fair report on FiveLive by Mike Ingram who said don't be fooled by the result as it was never a 4-0 drubbing and that we gave a very good account of ourselves and did not deserve to be on the end of that score line.

  • Sun report gives Solly highest player score of 8 which I go along with, Sunday Times gave Solly the lowest player score of 5 ???
  • they shd have sold some advertising space rather than publish that twaddle
  • yeh in mirror sport pullout pritchard got lowest mark of the lot at 5/10
  • Those of us there at the game know what happened. Until the second goal we matched them across the park and even after that goal the players heads never dropped. I came away really upbeat as this was a very good team performance against a Premiership side which has a number of international players and which has recently beaten Liverpool and Arsenal. A similar level against the Wendies and I will be very happy.
