Dreadful lazy journalism

What disappointed me most about today's result was that I thought anyone who wasn't there would assume it was a one sided stroll for Fulham, and journalists would report on the match inaccurately and with an insufficient level of research.

Shocking reporting.

Murphy's four years of dedicated service made me laugh.
Didn't his bint write for the Telegraph? Might explain that report

Blimey. I was expecting it to be bad but that was awful.

Frei did twist and turn a lot. Usually just before Solly nicked it off him. That's called good defending.

"Four years of dedicated service" - the blokes clearly got a sense of humour!

I think the Premier League would be greatly enhanced by a sudden swap in League places this weekend between Fulham & Charlton - on the field you have to admire them, off the field they are at about the same level as Brentford.......

Frei had been hyped up to be the next Theo Walcott and I thought Solly rendered him ineffective.Twisting and turning and forced to play a nothing ball inside and not getting in position to cross is not what Frei gets paid for.

    What a patronising prick.

Football is clearly not his/her specialist subject.

He sounds just as informed as some of the fans commenting on CL about the game

My view too. I'd heard that Frei was tricky but Solly negated him all game and he was subbed.

Every time Frei got the ball in the first half he gave it away. Reminded me a lot of Patrick Berger.

Solly is a quality defender, nothing fancy, watches the ball & rarely gets beat by pace or trickery.

What rubbish - Frei was not twisting and turning Solly - I thought they took him off because Solly had him in his pocket

I guess it depends on where you were stood. It was definitely "top of the league" where I was.

The reporter on Sky was much fairer, even when we went two down he was saying we were in no way out of the tie yet. It sounded like we played really well judging by his comments.
