That would give us a total of 93 points and almost certainly Promotion. The highest 2nd place total in the last 20 years for League 1 was Southampton's tally of 92 last season with the average being 86 (32 needed) and the lowest 79 (just 25 required).
To put it another way, at worst, if we win all of the remaining 12 home games and just one away from the Valley we can afford to lose all of the other 9 matches.
COYR you know you can do it!

Thank you Richard Hannay.

Edit 8-2!
We talk about winning at home and drawing away to average 2 points a game for promotion.
Had we done that over the holiday period we would have gained 5 points. As it was we won 2 and lost 1 giving us 6 points, one above schedule looking at those games in isolation.
All's good at the moment and long may it continue.
Bloody hell, it looks good doesn't it?
10 wins, 3 draws, 7 losses
9 wins, 6 draws, 5 losses
8 wins, 9 draws, 3 losses
7 wins, 12 draws, 1 loss
doom merchantsrealists but we now only need 26 points from the remaining 17 games to reach 93 points. That's 8 wins, 2 draws and 7 defeats.Think we can still do it ;-)
Sheffield Utd need 34 points from 17 games to reach 93 points.
The deluded need 36 points from 15 games.
Huddersfield need 38 points from 16 games.
Of the outsiders:
MK Dons need 44 points from 17 games
Stevenage need 45 points from 18 games.
Some serious promotion form has got to shown by all the chasing pack just to keep up with us - providing we maintain our own consistancy, of course.
6 wins, 7 draws, and 4 losses = 92 points (Chris Powell's target for promotion)
But I'd like to think we'll do it in style - and go up as Champions with 100+ points!
But to win the title in style and break some records .....well, that's the icing on the cake!
Sheff Utd - 31pts from 16 games (10 wins + 1 draw + 5 defeats)
Sheff Wed - 36pts from 14 games (12 wins + 2 defeats)
Huddersfield - 38pts from 16 games (12 wins + 2 draws + 2 defeats)
M K Dons - 41pts from 16 games (13 wins + 2 draws + 1 defeat)
Stevenage - 45pts from 18 games (15 wins + 3 defeats)
Realistically, these target are only within the range of Sheff Utd and Huddersfield and in the case of the latter a new Manager would need to hit the road running for this to happen.
So far this season we've picked up points at a rate of 2.25 per match. If we continue that for the next 14 games we'll finish on 103+ points.
Even if we really blew up and averaged just 1 point for our remaining games (the same rate as Walsall or Exeter at the moment) we'd still finish on 86 points. In eight of the last ten seasons this would have been enough to gain automatic promotion - though the target is likely to be higher this year with five teams head and shoulders above the rest.

75 points is normally (always even) sufficient for a play off place.
