Always had a soft spot for Young Guns 2. A rare sequel that is better than the first film, yet can be watched on its own. Great Bon Jovi soundtrack too.
  • Jimmy has spoken .... Hamburger Hill is a good one As is the Dave Robicheaux film starring Tommy Lee Jones (can't think of the title ?!!?)
In the Electric Mist (with the Confederate Dead) .. J L Burke does write a good book, even though his plot(s) are repeated continuously
  • coming to america is underated, good call
  • Mallrats, Scott pilgrim vs the world,
  • Mallrats, Scott pilgrim vs the world,

    Snooch to the nooch!
  • There's one on telly right now - The Burbs
  • Dead mans shoes
  • Scott pilgrim vs the world,
Although I love Scott Pilgrim. I would call it far from underrated, everyone whose seen it who i know love it. Not that its overrated, its just f***** awesome haha.
  • Dead mans shoes
No way does that qualify as underrated! It's an absolute masterpiece, and almost everyone who's seen it concurs. Again - confusing 'underrated' with 'little known'
  • Exiled hit the nail on the head with Man on the Moon. It's a fantastic film, and very underrated.

  • 2 austrlaian little crackers, Kenny and the castle both awsome films
  • The Peter Sellars Pink Panther films were brilliant - they showed one on tv the other day - the one where he pulls out the inspectors wrong tooth and his face melts whilst on laughing gas in the castle - absolutely brilliant as is the scene in the house where he's interviewing the suspects - parallel bars, then straight down the stairs. Simple but bloody funny.
  • I'm biased, but the films I've released that are underrated in my opnion are:

    The Horseman

    Pontypool

    A Lonely Place To Die

I'd give you all a money back guarantee too!

See - can't say fairer than that!

  • daylight robbery clive?? he he
  • Mary and Max
  • I'm surprised that mention of 'Lives of Others' hasn't sent JiMMy85 off on another rant as it collected an Oscar and a Golden Globe (both for best foreign language film) and made a profit of around $60m. so a few people went to see it!
  • Old Boy
    Ip Man
  • The Cannonball Run

  • Old Boy
    Ip Man
Old Boy is not Underrated. Highly regarded in fact.

Hey, there are films being mentioned on here that are justified... because they are not being
mentioned on here...(!?) This thread needs rules!!

Supaclive's onto something though!! Think I'm going to take a look at The Horseman....

  • The Ip Man/ The Yip Man is a great film.
  • Scott pilgrim vs the world,
Although I love Scott Pilgrim. I would call it far from underrated, everyone whose seen it who i know love it. Not that its overrated, its just f***** awesome haha.
One of the worst films Iv ever seen , shockingly bad !
Agree. Thought it terrible. Although, did watch it on a plane, which i think always gives you a different perspective of a film.
  • Very Bad Things.

A darker better version of Hangover (which is overrated), several years previous.

Ditto! When they do Sellers Slow Mo karate with Kato, I'm curled up pissing myself

Another classic not mentioned - Sexy Beast, Ben Kingsley is fantastic - if you haven't seen it, it should be your next film to watch!
